I have missed 2 periods and should be due my next period in 2 weeks i have done pregnancy test each week every morning and comeback positive, ive been to my doctor and she sent a sample away but its the hanging on to see if i am or not. Could it be something else if im not pregnant?

OK more than likely you are pregnant but!!! I was on the pill for 10 years stopped in January did test in Feb as missed a period was negative did one in march as missed another one negative one positive. I went to the doctors and they did a urine sample i had a kidney infection was not pregnant!!! In June i missed a period again did a test was negative then started being sick i went to the doctors for food poisoning and found out i was 6 weeks pregnant sometimes you get false results get the doctor to take a blood test it is only the definite WAY TO TELL!!!

It's most likely that you are pregnant, especially if you have already missed two periods..you are probably cruising toward the end of your first trimester right now! The only other possibility I can think of is an ovarian cyst because occasionally they can produce false positives in pregnancy tests. But, as a general rule, if you see the positive line, it means that you are pregnant....those tests are very reliable!

If you have missed periods and are having positive pregnancy tests then you are definitely pregnant. I can't believe your doctor is even bothering to do further tests. Most doctors wouldn't do that, they would say positive home tests are proof enough.
You need to get in touch with your local midwives because it is about time you had your first ante natal appointment.

I would have to say you are pregnant! If you have a positive reading..The tests will give you a false neg..before they will give you a false positive,,,

hon you are definatly pregnant. the test are rarely wrong when they come up positive. since you have taken several it is safe to say that you are.

i dont think it could be anything else more unlikely you are pregnant but it prolly could be somthing more serious you just should get checked

not really, are you sexually active??? unprotected sex??? i really dont know what else it could be. you could actually be more than 2 months pregnant
