Implantation bleeding occurs either when you expect to get your period or slightly before. It is like a really short, light period that you have no other way of explaining. I mistook my implantation bleeding for a period. But then I started getting extremely fatigued so I knew something was up. I had no other pregnancy symptoms.

It's also not uncommon to experience some spotting during pregnancy. Sometimes implantation can occur at a place where you will spot constantly. This has also happened to me.

Hope this helps! =)

I have had implantation bleeding. Mine didn't occur until I was 6 weeks pregnant. I was so scared. It was brownish, then bright red with one wipe, and then brownish for about 10 hours.

I was really nervous, but the baby had a heartbeat!

Sometimes people get it anywhere from their missed period date until the 6-7 weeks (the blood gets "stuck" in the uterus until then.)
