Pregnancy - January 2007

I am almost 33 weeks pregnant with a baby boy. I had twin boys in September 05 and got pregnant 8 months after having them. I had them at 36 weeks. I have been having weird pains but they are not regular and also sharp pains in my back I woke up last night with a horrible stomach ache and was just wondering what my chances were that I would go into early labor, I have had a stressful pregnancy taking care of twins on my own and have been arguing alot with the childrens father.

I've been on birth control for about 2 years now. I've missed them before but about a week ago I missed one or two of them and i don't take them at the same time everyday. In the last week or so i've been eating a lot and feel sick but i am on some strong meds that could do this. I had my period about 2 1/2 weeks ago and 1 1/2 weeks ago i got it again very light for about 3 days. Is it possible for me to be pregnant?

My Jan period was due JAn 6 -nothing- so I'm 10 days late I have taken 2 hpt both negative, I also took a blood test on Fri which also came back negative do I still have the possibiliyty of being pregnant?

I am 38 weeks 5 days pregnant with my second child. A week ago I was 3 cm dilated. I have persistant back pain in my lower back today that is not going away at all. Could I be in labor or could I have over done in with cleaning my house this weekend?

okay i am very very tiny i am 26 and weigh about 100 pounds i was born premature and i have always been very thin and tall and under wegiht i am wanting to get pregnet and me and my husband have decided to have a baby but i am nervous about how it will come out. i am very small torsoed do you think it is a high possiblity i will have to have a sea section reason being is my mom told me i will probally not be able to have a normal baby because i have a tiny who hoo also.....help?

I'm a mother of three, i've had many miscarriages, and I think I'm pg. I weigh about 120, but my stomach is popping out as if I were 6 months pregnant, boobs sore as hell and bigger, dizzy, sick to stomach, and bad cramps for the last 2 days. I took an e.p.t. test this a.m. I could see an extremely faint plus sign, (this has happened before). I started bleeding on 12-25, very light, lasted for about 5 days. It started 7 days too soon, though. This is driving me crazy! HELP!! Gotta go puke now, seriously. Thanks in advance.

I'm more on the heavy side and 25 weeks pregnant i dont feel movements and my doc app isnt till next week should i just go to the ER or am I over reacting my last pregnacy she didnt move much and she was fine.

I am 35 weeks pregnant with my 1st and I know I shouldn't compare myself to other pregnant women as we're all different, but I can't help it. I feel like my belly is small and it worries me. I look more like 5-6 months pregnant, then close to 9 months! My doctor measures me and doesn't seem concerned but I can't help but worry that my baby is going to be very small or that she's not growing properly. Plus I have been carrying super low this entire pregnancy and not high like most women. Baby looked good at my 22 week ultrasound though. Am I worrying too much?

Over the weekend (Saturday, to be exact) my husband and I were "having some fun." Afterward, I went to take a shower and took out my NuvaRing and forgot to put it back in.

I didn't realize the mistake until almost six hours later. However, we were in another city and so it was a total of 10 hours (or possibly more) before I could put it back in.

Now, it's only been three days, but my husband thinks I may be pregnant. My period isn't due for another week and a half and I think it may be too early for a pregnancy test, but I'm not sure, this is the only "oops" we've ever had. I'm having no symptoms, but it's still only been three days.

My husband and I have been talking about kids and so this wouldn't be a bad thing, just a little earlier than planned.

What are the chances that I am pregnant for just leaving the ring out for 10 hours after sex?

What would be the best course of action to be SURE? Doctor? Wait? Home pregnancy test? What?

I am about 80% sure I'm pregnant, but it's too soon to take a test (my period is still over a week away). I am due for a pap smear appointment tomorrow, but now I don't know if I should go at this stage. Should I wait until I can get a reliable test result? I had thought an OBGYN could sort of talk me through this and offer some counseling and wisdom, but now I'm afraid they'll insist on a pap regardless. I have abnormal cervical cells that have required a pap every 3 mos. for the past year+, so if I'm not pregnant, something else is wrong down there, and I feel I should see a doctor. But I'm scared! Can anyone offer any thoughts, such as at what point during a pregnancy a pap is safe/recommended?

I was wondering if i can have this done before 20 weeks? Im currently 17 weeks and 4 days and i will be losing my insurence for the month of Feb. And i had my appointment for this ultrasound on Feb 1st. Will they do it sooner? I dont want to pay all of this out of pocket so i really need it done in Jan. My dr wants me to have it done, so i dont have a choice so what can i do. Whats the soonest they will do it??? Thanks so much, ill be 18 weeks this sat the 20th, 19 weeks on the 27....

I am Married and may be pregnant. If I am it is not such a horrible thing, we can manage. We have an annual income of about 50,000, not alot but more than many.

I am one month late, but 4 neg tests, will go to the doc soon.

I am 21 weeks along now. Ever sense last night I have been having these really weird cramps like I am getting my period . Today they are very very painful and my lower back hurts. I havent felt the baby move all day.
I called my obgyn but he is out of town and the nurse on call made me a appoiment for next week and told me to rest. I am scard for the baby should I go to the er?

my first c-section was done because my bones were weak. Dr was concerned my pelvic wouldn,t take a labour + birth. second time i was much healthier although due to problems after first c-section was advised to have a second and a hysterectomy might have to be done at the same time, lucky for me this was not neccesary as i'm now expecting for the third time.. i'm already worried about the dellivery, i think i remmember being told by the Dr after 2 c-sections you have to have c-sections in future. does anyone know if this is true or not, as to be honest i cant really remmember. hope someone can help

Can a pregnancy test say that you are pregnant when you're not? Isn't there some kind of hormone imbalance that it could pick up on and mislead you by saying you're pregnant when you're not???

Okey this is the deal....I haven't had a period ever since nov 10.. this weekend I tooked a home pregnancy test..the result came out positive...about two weeks ago i had nausea and was throwing up my food here and there...i went to a restuarant and the smell and sight of food that day made me want to hurl...when i'm sleep at night my stomach makes these noises as if my stomach is moving around. i begin spotting two times and then it disappeared...and my stomach is starting to harden in certain spots...the problem is i don't know how to tell my mother the news. I have a feeling that she already knows but she's waiting on me to tell her. My boyfriend is in training for the army right about now...he wants a baby and in his letters he keeps on saying he hopes i am so when he comes back he will have something forward to look for. I'm in the middle of college and about to graduate in another year. I'm suppose to move on campus in april but now i think there going to be a change...

Does the doctor take a urine/blood sample and test it on the spot? or does the doctor refer you to the blood unit in hospital where they test you for all sorts of things and send the results back to the doctor?
