go to the er and get checked out. it could be early labor pains and the er may be able to stop it. your baby most likely survive if born this early. if you wait a week for your doctor you may be to late to help your baby. good luck.

Hi, I'm not meaning to scare you, but the same thing happened to me at 10 1/2 wks of pregnancy, I had the same symptoms that you have, and decided to go to ER after the pain was just too unbearable. I got there and they kept me in overnight because it was very late on saturday night, and they couldn't do an ultrasound then, so i ended up having one on early sunday morning and they found that the baby had aborted itself, and that 's what was causing all of my pain. I had even had an emergency ultrasound 2 1/2 wks earlier because I ended up in ER with sharp abdominal pains, and was rushed by ambulance for an emergency ultrasound, because they thought I might be having a tubal pregnancy, but everything turned out okay, and I was'nt. So when I had the miscarriage, it came as a total shock.
If something should happen though, don't give up okay, I had two girls before it happened, and then a year and a half later, I had my boy.
I hope this helps, and please don't think that I am trying to worry you in any way, but I would get my butt to ER pretty fast, it's better to be safe than sorry.
Hope all goes well with you,
God Bless,
Kdee

I am 20 weeks along, I don't feel the baby move every day yet. If I was having really bad cramps that don't go away with so feet up rest. I would go to the ER...
I have had pains from muslces being streched that havn't been streched but nothing last for a long time, you might try making the baby move to make sure it not on a nerve. I'm not sure what you can really do to make the baby move but when I have ultrasounds they push on my tummy a little hard.
But the best thang that anyone can tell you, is to do what your gut is telling you!

I would go, even if it is just to put your mind at ease! I thought my water broke at 26 weeks, I went to the ER at 4 am only to find out I peed myself. I was soooo happy!!! Yes happy I peed myself because that meant my water didn't break. I say better to be safe than sorry! Also when checking for fetal movement (called fetal kick counts) you should lie still for a while, sometimes your daily movements rock the baby to sleep, that is why you mostly feel the baby at night or when you are in bed!

Yes, if you are worried go to the ER. WHat if something is wrong and you don't go? You should feel the baby move a lot by the time you are 21 weeks. Don't wait go now.

If you haven't felt the baby move all day I would go get it checked out. Me being a mother of two and my daughter just being born two months ago. I would have gone for something like that or even seen a different doctor. Good luck! I hope everything is okay.

Anything that you describe as very very painful should be checked out. No fetal movement should also get checked out ASAP. Shame on the nurse for not having you go in to get checked.
I would go to the ER and tell them you are having bad cramping and haven't felt your baby move. They will check you out and get you hooked up to monitors.

If you are concern you should go to the E.R. Something like that could be serious, it could be contractions your about 6 months along so it's important to check that out because it is not safe to have the baby until you are mid-7 months. I know you love your baby, I'm a mother I know that feeling, so go check that out! It's better to be safe than sorry. Good Luck Mama

THIS IS GOING TO BE A LITTLE UNCOMFORTABLE FOR YOU, BUT I WOULD SUGGEST THAT YOU GET A COLD GLASS OF WATER AND PLACE IT IN THE AREA WHERE THE BABY IS. THAT SHOULD CAUSE THE BABY TO MOVE BECAUSE IT COULD BE PRESSING AGAINST A NERVE AND JUST HASN'T MOVED. SOMETIMES A BABY WILL NOT MOVE MUCH. THEN THERE ARE TIMES WHEN IT WILL MOVE A LOT. SO HOLD THE GLASS THERE JUST TO SEE IF YOU GET ANY LITTLE REACTION. HOPE THIS HELP YOU OUT. I AM BELIEVING THAT YOU WILL FEEL THE BABY MOVE AFTER THIS.

Well, mild cramping is normal during pg, but the cramping you are telling doesn't sound normal. Try to rest as the nurse said and if you keep feeling like this and/or the pain gets worse I would defenately go to the ER...this is your baby we are talking....I wouldn't risk it if after resting I keep feeling like that. Good luck honey...and don't doubt your motherly instincts.
