While I was preganant me and my fiance' had sex all the time. Do you think this is the reason for the miscarriage?

I know many pregnant women ask if women can have period during early pregnancy. Once I also wondered the same thing. When I realized that lots of women do have period I felt very relieved since I started bleeding at week5-6. Even my dr told me that it could be very normal and denied my request to get an ultrasound. So I thought everything was great. Yesterday, I finally talked to a different dr. He told me that my bleeding could be normal but it could also be very abnormal. He set me an appt with an OBGYN. Today, after a pelvic exam and an ultrasound the dr told me that I was going through a miscarriage and I had to get a D&C. I literally refused to believe him. He told me that if I don't get D&C immediately I might end up in ER for blood transfusion. So couple hrs later I did get D&C. Lying on that operating table was one of the most traumatic experience. I couldn't stop crying.
If you have any doubt...please seek a second opinion.

I know it sounds weird but i also know i am not the only one since i have read "What to Expect When you are expecting" , this is my second pregnancy and with both i have had an excess of saliva and a constant phlegmy feeling in the back of my throat. I drink a ton of water to try to flush out my throat but whenever i am not drinking water, the feeling of something stuck in my throat makes me gag frequently and of course makes me nauseous. has this ever happened to anyone or am i just weird? does anything work other than a constant water flow?

This is my first pregnancy. I'm due March 12th. I do not know when to go into labor or what it feels like. Could someone give me advice?? Also, I read online that you should keep a bag packed for the hospital. What do you pack? Any advice is very much appreciated!! About contractions, labor, hospital stay, everything! Thanks

In dec my period started on 26th it ended on 30..i thought i was pregnant but i wasn't..I kept havein unpertacted sex..Then i thought i was pregnant but my period cam dis mouth all werid cam on the 16th ended today on the 20th..first it was brown pink yellow..then kinda normal bleedin then again brown...Could i be pregnant still? when should i take a test?...did i ovualte on the 8th or 9th?..last time i had sex was this mouth on 7th...

I just found out I was pregnant and I was sitting down looking at something on the internet and I got up and then all the sudden I got these sudden quick sharp pinchy pains in my lower abdomen... Was this normal..? They only lasted for like 5 seconds. I get these pinchy pains once in a while also but not sudden.. Is that normal too? This is my first child and it's late at night so I figured I would just get some insight from you lovely ppl. Thank you.

hello every body.i had two M/C in past one in 2003 and 2nd in 5.5.2006 my last period was 12.17.2006.my period are very regular 28 to 30 day cycle .this month i had implantation brownish spot on 20 day of my last period.i missed my period this month i was feeling sick i took home pregnancy test after one day of missed period its came postive.i went to dr clinic and told about test she gave me duphaston tab to prevent from M/C .she didnt take test in her clinic .from yesterday i am not feeling sickness i told this to dr she said no problem u should come for ultra sound after 2 weeks. i am 4.5 weeks now . i got pregnant 4 time and every time so much sickness .i am much upset that i am not feeling pregnant sign except missed period.is this ok plz help me is it possible i got false postive?and duphaston stop bleeding?

Im 23 weeks and am thrilled to be pregnant but I feel detatched from the experience. I have been excited when I buy stuff but I feel distant from the whole thing of being pregnant and whats about to come in a few months time. Also the thought of larbour and birth scares me along with wondering if I'll be a good Mum. I have always wanted kids and love being around them. Could it just be the fact that 4 months before falling pregnant with this baby I had a miscarrage and now I feel resereved? Is this normal?

I haven't had any actual morning sickness yet (hoping that I won't) but I have been get nauseated off and on, and it seems to be happening more frequently as the days pass. so my question is, did morning sickness come on suddenly for you? or did it come on gradually over a period of time? thanks in advance for serious answers :)

I am 42 wks pregnant and i have tried everything to induce labor, I MEAN EVERYTHING!!! i am not dialated ANY!!! my doctor is going to set a inducement date and i really want to go into labor on my own... does anybody know of anything i can do??!?!... i have tried sex, walking, nipple stimulation, and resting alot and nothing seems to work!! i dont want to try castrol oil b/c i heard it was dangerous... somebody please help me!!!

Me and my boyfriend had attempted to have sex for the first time. After the first 2 minutes of intercourse, he fell out of me, and had told me when he fell out the condom fell off right when he did, and when he tried putting it back on it broke. I've never been pregnant, and I still have 1-2 weeks till my period. He didnt even have pre-***, thats how fast he fell out, but Im still worried. Could I still get pregnant by that? I had sex with this guy December 23rd and we didn't use protection. I have never been on birth control. My period was supposed to be the first week of the month and I didn't get it.. Instead, it was just light bleeding off and on for a couple days. I have been feeling very tired lately no matter how much sleep I get and I'm rarely hungry but if I am I just snack and I've been very gassy and constantly dizzy and I have really bad headaches occasionally off and on. I took a home pregnancy test January 11th and it came back negative. It was just a pregnancy test from the dollar store.. could it have been too early to tell?? What do you guys think??? From personal experiences, does it seem like I am? I am only 18 and just really worried about this. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

I am 22 yrs. old and am 5 months pregnant. Six days ago, I experience numbing in the bottom left side of my mouth. The next day, pain came along with the numbness. The pain got worse and I thought it was a toothache because my teeth in that area became sensitive.
My husband took me to the dentist and we found out that it's probably inflamed tissues of the nerve that's located in that area (possibly due to infection or trauma). He showed me a chart of where the nerve begins and extends and that's the same area that I experience numbness and pain (all on the bottom left side).
He says he has never seen this before and all he can do is prescribe me amoxicillin. He says the amoxicillin won't harm the baby. But, if it doesn't clear up in a few days, or it gets worse (like the area starts to swell), then he may reffer me to a neurologist.
I am scared. I am also on beta-blockers for my heart and don't want to add more stress to the baby.
Has anyone had this happen before?

I am having cramps and the doctor thinks it's nothing. I have had some spotting but has stopped. I have one living child and lost my last three. i am pregnant for the fifth time and scared to death that i will lose this one. when i lay down the cramping stops. I asked the doctor about bed rest and he said i should be fine. The cramping really hurts.

I thought you were supposed to take folic acid BEFORE you get pregnant. Do you need to take it DURING PREGNANCY too??

And it is to prevent birth defects, right?

Also, what about vitamins DURING pregnancy? Any nutrients needed in particular?
