I would get a new doctor. It doesn't sound like you trust that one (I hate when doctors blow off our concerns!). Is he/she an OB/GYN that knows your medical history and situation? That's what I would do. In the meantime, don't be afraid to call the ER and talk to an OB nurse. Don't be afraid to go to the ER. Trust your instincts about your own body.

I hope your doctor is aware you lost your last 3. If he isn't I would call him right now. Lying down will help with the cramping I'm sure, but I would rather be safe than sorry, if all else fails go to the hospital and have them check you out. You know how you feel better than any doctor.

The doctor knows what's best. There's nothing more hi-tech than a high risk pregnancy doctor. You don't need a doctor's order to go on bed rest, you can do that on your own. But if you have a job, you will not receive unemployment benefits for bed rest.

if you don't like what your doctor is saying go to a different doctor or to the hospital. if the cramping goes away when you lay down. then lay down and rest. if you work take off for the nest few days or weeks until this cramping goes away. GOOD LUCK!!!!!!!!

Go to a different doctor. It does not sound like he is taking you seriously. You need to be seen by a High-risk OB/GYN. Teaching hospitals have great doctors. Find one in your area. If you live in Washingtom state go to the University of Washington Hospital.

The dr. shouldn't think, he should know. Should be fine, I don't think so, Go to the Hospital, and change doctors before something does happen. Good Luck. I am praying for you.

Your best bet would be to just lay down since you said it decreases the pain. I'm really sorry about your losses. I don't know what exactly is the problem but I wish you lots of luck in your current pregnancy.
Take real good care of yourself. Best of luck!

I really suggest going to the hospital, especially if you are REALLY hurting. Only you know how you really feel, go to the hospital and get checked out, its better to be safe than sorry later. Good luck to you!!!
