The best one? The one that is used.

However, any name brand is going to be about as effective. There is still a 12% failure rate. Use spermicide as well, it can be applied before you even get to making out, up to half an hour to a full hour ahead, depending on the brand.

Better yet, if you're planning, get on birth control and wait a month or two. Or the nuva ring. But still use a condom, std's can kill, maim or sterilize you.

Latex, but make sure that your partner does not have a latex allergy first. Many people are allergic to it. There are lambskin condoms, but I have heard that they are not as effective. ALWAYS get ones that have spermicide in them, so that way, even of the condom does break it will kill the sperm.

Use a condom with spermicide. If you are not on birth control already you can do that also. They also have female condoms available if you would like to go that route. This site may help you with any other questions you have. Remember if your going to have sex, please do it safely.

Please wait till you get married. Sex is a big responsibility. But if you're not going to wait, please use something else with the condom. Those things break. Then what do you do? That's why you have to have something else.
