Does the procudure physically hurt if you don't get put to sleep for it? With a local anesthetic only and an IV with Ibuprofen. Thanks ;)

Long story short, In November 2006 I had a miscarriage, I was waiting to have a period before we started trying again, but I ended up getting pregnant again (definitley unexpected). According to the ultrasound I had last Friday I was six weeks and you could see the heartbeat and everything was great, that Sunday I started bleeding and really cramping and had to go to the hospital, turns out I lost the baby again. I don't know what to think now... I don't know if this miscarriage was brought on b/c I ended up getting pregnant right after the last one and did not have a period or what. I want to have a baby so bad but I am afraid to try again b/c of my experiences with miscarriage. Can anyone else tell me if they have experienced this??? Thanks for your time.

I am not looking to get pregnant but was intrigued by a book I saw at the bookstore. It was a book about things to do to conceive a girl or boy, whichever one you happen to want.

Has anyone ever tried this? How did it work out? What were some of the things that you did and did it work?

Hi Everyone. First of all I got my period the 8th of this month, and I usually have a regular period (28 days). Yesterday (the 18th) my boyfriend and I had a mis-hap (his condom slipped) and his semen came in contact with my vagina. I am a virgin and I am not sure whether it penetrated or released *** just on the surface. I took plan B after 3 hours the incident. What are the chances of me being pregnant? I would appreciate any answers.

tender breasts last mth to wher i couldnt touch them, spotting of my period this mth which is not normal,somewhat jumpy feeling in my belly and crampy along the bottom,mood swings,i get hot faster then anyone else,when i go out side my breats get all sore and tingly is this all normal plus i have felt nausea sometimes and light headed as well to where i need to sit down and i get thirsty once in awhile to my belly button is tender and sore and im very itchy sometimes to everywhere on my belly and my breasts can someone plz help me and tell me what u think of these and i am also a chocolate lover and now i cant be bothered to eat or drink it and it gives me heart burn like crazy if i do which is deffinetely not me ty and do your best is all u can do for advice

I have just started my new job on January 15, 2007. I am 13 weeks pregnant. I asked my current employer about preg. leave/medical leave. They don't seem to offer any leave until after you have been there 1 year. (All other benefits kick in after 3 mos.) And since I haven't been there one year, I can't receive leave from work nor can I use FMLA. They won't guarantee my job when I can come back. ( I also live in the state of Iowa.)

Any suggestions???

I eat all the time now (2 months pregnant) but as soon as im full, my tummy starts to growl again!! My mother tells me not to eat alot so i wont get fat but then i worry about supplying my child with all he/she wants and needs

Im turning 20, which doesn't seem to be that young to me, all though I know a lot of people think it is. I think I may be pregnant, and I know I can handle it. I've finished nursing school and I share a house with my in laws whom it get along with really well. I'm sort of nervous to see everyone's reaction because I know most people will look at me like I must be crazy to have a child so young. Is it really too young? my friend didnt know she was pregnant, started taking birthcontrol for a month, and miscarried...she bled heavily(with clots) for over a month now and the pregnancy test today came back positive? can she be pregnant again while still bleeding ans so soon after?

it is only at night time for some reason. Does anyone know what this could mean? I have been tested for gestational diabetes and passed. The only thing that i can think of is I take my prenatal at night...could this cause a dry mouth? It's almost umbearable tonight and im starting to get a little nervous about it. Thanks!

Did your dr. give you an ultrasound between 34 and 40 weeks??? i have heard that it is a very needed medical procedure to see how the baby is growing. but last time when i went to my dr, he didn't even mention anything about an ultrasound. I am 35 weeks along.

i have not had my period in about 6 months ? and i have alot of discharge ( some clear some yellowish color) i have take 5 hpt and they all are negative... if you look at my stomach there is like this hard ball over it ( my friend was telling me that what her stomach felt like when she was pregnant) but its up towards my rib cage and the hardness goes all the way down... i went to a wallk in doc clinic today and they did a pap smear and took another pregnancy test and thats it! not a blood test or anything.. what gets me and doesn't take my mind off of this is i can feel movements ( it is not gas, i'm sure) if i drink some cold water this feeling moves faster i can lay on my stomach and feel something i have never felt... i'm only 18 so i am not just wishful thinking.. why is every negative? what else could this feeling be? it will go really fast then slow down then i feel like a thump ? i was told futher on your hormones get mest up so maybe thats why everything is negative?

After i have sex my abdomin hurts or during sex sometimes it really hurts on my lower pelvic that i have to stop sometimes. The doctor said i have small lil cysts on my cervix and that is what is making me feel that way. Im worried though that i could have endometriosis? can that stop me from conceiving naturally although i already have a 7 year old son. Does endometriosis come as in your early years or does it just grow as you age?

I had my first pregnancy appointment a couple of days ago. My Dr. couldn't determine my due date because I did not remember my last period date and I am finding my due date out on the 22nd with an ultrasound. My Dr. did an ultrasound my first visit and actually heard a heartbeat how far along do you have to be to hear that! I am so EXCITED!
