yes I was told by my doctor it usually does. I was very anemic and I heard you might crave dirt and want to crunch ice a lot. Why? I dunno. Luckily I just crave the hard ice to chew.

for iron deficiency, eat red meat and cereals that contain iron. supplements also help.

Ya.. but um... don't eat it.. lol. I know one little girl that used to feed it to her baby sister... and when the younger sister grew up she craved dirt.. LOL

It can. When women that are pregnant have severe cravings for non-food items or for foods that are dangerous for pregnant women it is best to talk to your OB/GYN.
