No. The top number is a little high but nothing to be concerned about. Usually they say anything that is 20 above your normal on both numbers is high. (Normal is 120/70 high would be 140/90) They should have told you warning signs to look for. You should be alright. Good luck

The 70 is good, the 138 is a little elevated, but not nearly to the pre-eclampsia level. Try lying on your left side, as when you lie on your back or your right, the baby tends to rest on the lower branch of your aorta and elevate your blood pressure. The next time they take your pressure at the doctor, do it sitting up like they usually do, and then ask them to do it after you have been lying on your left for a few minutes and see if this produces any change.

That is a little low I would call your doctor's office or local maternity ward and ask them about it. A lot would depend on your normal readings. You say you take your blood pressure often....is it always on the low side. If it is usually 120/80 or something and now it is that low that is a little low. However, a slight drop in blood pressure is normal mid pregnancy. Try eating a little salt and drinking something with a little caffeine to get it up some to see if that will help you a little. Also, make sure you are using a good cuff for your arm size. The wrong size cuff can mess up your readings too.

3 years ago, I was diagnosed - hypertension with a reading of 160/100. I used to feel dizzy a lot, my legs had awful cramps, and levels were very low in my potassium, causing my fingers and toes to always cramp together. One day I started to feel really faint while I was driving with my daughter in the back seat and I passed out, hitting 3 cars and ending up in a ditch. That moment,I knew I had to do something because my meds weren't working. I heard about this diet from a friend and thought I'd give it a shot. The results have been remarkable. In just 21 days, I honestly can't remember feeling this good, my blood pressure went from 175/110 to 125/70.

They will just see if you are at risk for preeclampsia or toximia, mine was 150/90 which is high but I went a week later and it was 120/75. Your blood pressure will change alot during pregnancy, they just moniter it, if its always high, there can be cause for concern, good luck

But both numbers are good.
