I had my first pregnancy appointment a couple of days ago. My Dr. couldn't determine my due date because I did not remember my last period date and I am finding my due date out on the 22nd with an ultrasound. My Dr. did an ultrasound my first visit and actually heard a heartbeat how far along do you have to be to hear that! I am so EXCITED!

It is a lot sooner with ultrasound, but you have to be around 12 weeks to hear it with a Doppler.

I had an ultrasound two weeks ago.. I was only 6 weeks pregnant and they seen and heard a heart beat.. you can see and hear a heartbeat via ultrasound as early as 5 weeks pregnant.. but by dopler, you can't hear the heartbeat until you are 10-12 weeks.

You can start hearing the baby's heartbeat at 5 weeks so you are either 5 weeks or further along!! Congrats!

Ultrasound immediately...But with a doppler at least 10 weeks...

i was told by my doctor that you can hear your baby's heartbeat starting at 10 weeks and beyond :) congratulations
