My mom had her tubes cut and tied, 2 years before she had me. Here I am, so it is possible.

okay here's the thing. I heard that your most likely to get pregnant after 7 years after a tubal ligation too but i had my 3rd baby in june of 2005 and i had a tubal ligation done right after i had her and now I'm 26 weeks pregnant with twins so maybe it just depends on what kind of tubal ligation you had. the doctor only tied my tubes :)

There is always a chance of failure. The tubes can sometimes grow back together. There is no set amount of time that it takes for this to happen. Here is a great article which lays out the types of tubal ligation, which ones are most effective, and which is easiest to reverse if desired. http://www.tubal-ligation-info.org/typesoftubal.asp

I had a tubal last march after my son was born. They supposedly cut, tied and burned. I am six weeks pregnant right now so there is a chance to get pregnant if you seem to be a fertile (very fertile) mother.

There is always a chance you will get pregnant. However, if you also have your tubes burned; the chance goes WAY DOWN!!
