Pregnancy - December 2006

Last night, i took a home pregnancy test. (Best Choice, from the Dollar Store.) Right away there was only a line in the C section, not the T section, meaning it was negative. Sometime after 10 minutes i looked at the test again and there was a barely noticable relatively colorless line, i had to look really closely to see it. I figured it was an evaporation line, but i wasn't positive. Today in the morning i went into a free pregnancy testing clinic near my house and got it done by a professional. (urine test.) She informed me that the test was negative, and that she didn't see ANY evidence of any other positive lines, meaning pregnancy. Also, we looked up my conception time, and according to their chart and the start of my last period, my conecption time would have been on the 20th of november, and i had sex on the 11th, so they said i'm probably not pregnant. I'm going back on the 23rd to get retested just to be sure. I was wondering though, considering all of that, is this a true negative?

I went to the doctors on friday and they couldn't find a heart beat. I was worried but didn't really think anything of it. So on saturday I started spotting, my doctor said that it was normal. On monday I woke up at 6am and I was bleeding really bad. My husband took me to the ER and we were there for 5 hours. They couldn't find the baby on the ultrasound, my HCG count was high, but no baby.
Today I went to my doctors for a follow up and they said that I had lost the baby or that I had a blighted ovum, which means no baby formed. We are going to try for a baby again, in a couple months, but for now I am lost, I have all of these maternity cloths and baby books and I feel like I faked my pregnancy, because I wasn't after all. I really just want to know if anyone else has gone through this, or a miscarriage. Let me know how you coped with it. Thanks for your caring words last time, they really helped.

What are the chances of having a c-setion. I'm 7 days overdue. And I started off weighing 121 lbs and I'm about 5'2". I'm still 5'2" but I now weigh 160ish lbs. I'm in a way hoping that I do have one just to skip the pain of labor, just cause my recovery with my daughter was very long with just natural birth. I know to ask my doctor but just wondering people's opinions. My doctors appointment is on thursday.

I am 3 months along and I have a belly which now does not fit into my pants and because of it my shirts are too short. I have only gained 1.5 lbs so far during the pregnancy so it is not from overeating. Is it too early to start wearing maternity clothes?

I just did a FirstResponse preg. test and got a negative result.
However, my breasts are unbelievably tender, i'm very emotional and cry at anything, i'm urinating almost twice as often as normal, and i am bloated (which i am not normally bloated during pms).
I typically start my period on which would have been Sunday, but sometimes I'm as late as what would be tomorrow. So i figured taking a test today would be ok. Should I get a blood test done and how soon are they accurate?

I work part time in the evenings at a store and all my coworkers are women. They started telling me that another coworker came to work with a hangover the other day. The problem? She's PREGNANT!!! We're not sure how pregnant she is. She got engaged on Thanksgiving and claims she got pregnant right after. But, we all think that she was probably pregnant before that and that's why she got engaged. So, we're guessing she's about 4 or 5 weeks along. She claims that she can drink for the first 2 months of her pregnancy. Everyone at work thinks she's nuts! I was so upset when I heard that she drank to the point of having a hangover. And she's a frequent drinker, so it's not like she had a sip and was buzzed. She had to drink A LOT! Why would someone risk the health of their baby? Is anyone else upset hearing this? Okay, this is more of a rant than a question. I can't believe how stupid some people are!

I am on the pill.. I USUALLY take it around the same time every night. I have been having unprotected sex with my boyfriend... I had my period two months ago normally... then last month I was 4 days late getting my period which ended up lasting a whole 3 days with light bleeding. My normal period is about 5 and HEAVY! I kept taking my pills and having unprotected sex, and now a week and a half later Im having a full blown period again!?!?! This morning for the first time, i noticed after I squeezed my breast that there was some milky fluid coming out, then I tried the other one and same thing, my last period was Nov 25, I know there is no way I can be pregnant and already be producing milk, can anyone tell me if they have had the same experience.
