Why? I would've thought that if anybody would know how difficult it would be to have a kid when young, and if anybody would've had how to use birth control hammered into them, it'd be kids whose parents had them exceptionally young. But, apparently not.

What am I missing?

I am 5 weeks and 3 days pregnant today. I took a pregnancy test this morning and the line was very dark.

I think I am losing some of my pregnancy symptoms. I still have to pee a lot, I am tired, I have cramps in my uterus, and my nipples hurt.

But my breasts were hurting bad, and now they only hurt on the sides near my armpits.

Is losing tenderness in your breasts a sign of a future miscarriage?

I can't call my doctor, and this is my 1st pregnancy so I don't know if this is normal!

I am scared! Help!

You know a midwife will feel for how high your uterus is? What is she feeling for? If I was to try and do this myself, could I? And how?

I am trying to concieve
As of now I am taking a Multivitamin Tablet containing 6000 IU or 1800 Mcg of Vitamin A
I have heard that taking high doses of Vitamin A is not suitable during or before pregnancy
Could anyone tell me the recommended dosage of Vitamin A?
What I am taking now is too high?

hi everyone i recently had a miscarriage and i'm trying for another baby, me and my partner are getting out first house in february(the one i grew up in dads movin in with partner nd lettin me have this one) the house needs redecorating and we r gonna paint it all if i end up pregnant again before then would it be safe to do that? i dont need anything oging wrong again this time

I'm 16 years old, and I know my question sounds sad. My period is late, and I've suspected of being pregnant for a little while now. I'm inbetween jobs. I can't let my family find out about it because the father is from a hispanic country, and they are incredibly racist. I also know that he wouldn't be there to help. I'm 8 months pregnant and I've only gained 23lbs my entire pregnancy. I had a hard time gaining weight in the beginning and now that I am reaching the end I'm having the same issue.
I know toward the end your supposed to be gaining a pound a week but in between my last two appts. which were 2 weeks apart I have only gained 1/2lb.
I've always had a hard time gaining weight but now that I'm pregnant I am worried about the lack of weight gain for my babies sake.
I eat 5 to 6 small meals a day and I take my pre-natal vitamins, What else can I do to make sure I gain more weight and not get into trouble with my midwife again?!

im 5'5 and i am 34 weeks so far i have gained like 40 lbs is that normal? it seems like every time i go the doctor i gain like 5 lbs i still have 6 weeks i dont want to gain like 100 lbs before this is over lol .

Im am 24 and pregnant with my first child. My boyfriend walked out and doesnt want a baby. So now im stuck alone and gotta raise this kid. He works a great job and said if i have him up for child support he will harm me! He is the father he should pay support when the baby is born! How do i get support from him with out him trying to harm me???

1. I was just about to sort through my underwear drawer and toss out the stuff that's starting to get a bit ratty. I stopped, though: I'm pregnant, and it occurred to me that these are the things I might want to wear without worrying about bleeding on after delivery. How realistic is that?

2. Pregnancy magazines keep making odd comments about pregnancy/maternity/post-partum underwear choices invariably being of the big ugly plain variety. Huh? I mean, I'm not into nylon thongs at the moment and could see how those would go out the window, but normal cotton string bikinis surely have a place -- or is there something I'm missing? What about motherhood requires granny panties?

3. For guys reading this question: yeah, uh, I know. And, no, it's probably not what women usually talk about when they're alone, or else I'd know the answers.

I am 21 weeks pregnant. I have been feeling my baby move for about 4 weeks, but my hubby can never feel the kicks when he puts his hand on my tummy. How long until the kicks are strong enough that someone else can feel them?

My last 2 appts the dr told me that my babys head is downword so i was wondering if she might be facing inwards and therefore causing me to feel less movements? The past couple of days she hasnt been as active as she was. im only feeling little squirms once in awhile and sometimes really low punches but not any major kicking. My dr said that if i was ever concerned that they have monitoring they can do but im trying to be realistic in that babies dont always move and some movements is better than none. Does any of this sound normal to you? Thanks for any advise is appriciated.

I use birth control... i use it pretty regularly i never missed a active pill. but i do use my active pills early to make my period shorter ... does that increase my chances of getting pregnant if i have sex
