okay two days ago i took a pregnancy test and i thought it was negetive till ten minutes later i looked at it again and their was a second line Not dark it was faint but it was defintitly there should i think im pregnant or should i Not im 1 week and a half late for my period

by the way i did read the instruction it told me up to ten minutes for the right results but still unsure because the line was faint

when i was pregnant i had two tests just like that. i couldn't tell at all, i saw a nurse and she did a test and that was negative but i just knew i was pregnant so i waited a week then took a digital test. there was no mistaking that result when the word pregnant flashed up. the result stays on the tesr for an hour too. they are a little more expensive but i would deffinately reccomend one of them.

I have actually had this happen twice before mind you the instructions on the test does say not to read after 5 minutes but when it happened for me, I retook the test a couple days later and it was possitive.
The second time it happened it was negative a couple days later but I got pregnant the next month.

Its void after 10 minutes. That faint line you saw is called an evaporation line. I'd suggest another urine test or a blood test. Just remember, after 10 minutes its no longer to be believed.

Pregnancy tests are NOT reliable after the time has elapsed. An evaporation line can form which looks like a positive result when it is not.
If you got a negative result in the time it said to use it, you are probably not pregnant.

I think you should take another test to be sure. When my sister was pregnant and took a PT the second line was very faint so we called to ask what it meant if it wasn't full solid - they said if we saw anything that the test was positive. So, um.... congratulations?

I would think that you are probably pregnant unless both lines were faint and then you probably tilted the stick while urinating and blotched the test. Either way, take a second test and then go see you gynecologist or doctor.

You need to do another test. Read the box carefully before you do the test. They have instructions for a reason and for an accurate answer you need to follow them directly.

i would say that you are. tests are still valid after ten minutes. a would test again just to make sure.
