I am 21 weeks pregnant. I have been feeling my baby move for about 4 weeks, but my hubby can never feel the kicks when he puts his hand on my tummy. How long until the kicks are strong enough that someone else can feel them?

I would say within the next week to three weeks, it really depends for one thing the more slender you are the earlier movements can be felt from the outside. Also for some reason the baby can be kicking constantly and the second you let someone feel, they stop kicking.

I'm 21 weeks also. But you already knew that!! :)
Anyways, I hope hubby can feel the baby when he comes home. I am really crossing my fingers for that. I can actually put my hand on my belly and feel the baby so I hope others can very soon as well.

I think all men are the same, my boyfriend always says he can't feel anything. I am now 29weeks pregnant and my daughter is head down so her feet are right in the middle below my chest, It was today that he felt his daughter move for the first time. If he can't feel the baby then try laying on you back and get him to watch your tummy, sometimes people can see your tummy move better than when they feel it.
Good luck xx

I was 24 weeks when others could feel my baby kick from the outside, though I felt her kicking from the inside a month earlier.

a few weeks time when you feel the kicks getting stronger. Then when your in your final month, he will be able to feel a foot or its head, your stomach will be all shapes when the baby is trying to move about in the confined space towards the end. I used to hate the foot under the rib cage, that was sore. I used to try and push it to a more comfortable position.

My little boy never kicked very strongly when i was pregnant, but then he was very big so didnt have much room to move. A friend of mine though used to be kept awake at night by the noise of her baby kicking the matress! he also used to kick her partner in the back if she cuddled up to him. Theyre all different.

My husband felt the baby move last week when we were cuddling on the couch at 25 weeks, but he gets very frustrated when I keep telling him to come here, he always seems to miss it then.
