Pregnancy - December 2006

I was wondering how well condoms work at preventing STD's and pregnancy, when used alone without any other contraception how likely is a pregnacy? Has anyone here ever got pregnant even when they used a condom during sex?

Now...my last period was sep.22 06. i figured two weeks past that is when i would have ovulated. And another 1 to two weeks when my baby implanted. Making me two weeks pregnant in the first week of october. Add five weeks to that...and that would make me between 7 and 8 weeks along now? Correct me if i'm wrong...because i'm kind of going through a crisis right now. We figured all this time that i was 11 weeks. But on a sonogram friday they only measured my baby at 6 to 7 weeks along. If thats so and i am supposed to be 11 wks along. That would mean my baby died around 4 to 5 weeks ago. I won't know for sure until this next friday. This will be a week from hell. So i'm just trying to figure out if this could really have all just been a mix up. Thanks for your comments

I have been seeing this guy for a while now and we "did it" the first time in september, I'm on a birth control but it's only so much accurate and what not.... I haven't had my period since the first time we did it, i spotted a couple of times but nothing! HELP I'M POOR WHITE AND PROBABLY PREGNANT

I gave birth 3 months ago, bleed after that for about 2 weeks. In the beginning of October I had a period for about a week, and nothing since then. Is it normal because of all the hormones? I know it's possible I could be pregnant. But before I get all worked up, is it possible my body is just readjusting? Has this ever happened to anyone else?

I am 36 weeks and I am going in for another ultrasound in the morning. My cervices is already opened up and my doctor said I wouldn't go full term so I am wondering if in the ultrasound the see that the baby is already at a good weight and fine, will they induce or strip my membranes?? Has anyone had these done before?

Does anyone know any good websites that will tell me how my body will be feeling specifically at 5 weeks pregnant? and cramps and bleeding during pregancy and what that will consist off? i have looked on google but cant seem to find anything of much use.

When I first found out I was pregnant I was estatic. We had been trying six years and we had thought we had no possibility of getting pregnant. Now I am scared and anxious about being pregnant. I don't feel like I should be this way but have these feelings nonetheless. Don't get me wrong, I am happy but scared out of my wits end.

Ok - i am 23wks pregnant and have had no problems so far (apart from the normal pregnancy ailments!).

I have felt baby moving around alot over the past few weeks - morning, noon and night.

Yesterday i only felt baby move in the afternoon - not as active as usual. So far today i have felt baby move around a little this morning but again, not as active as usual.

I think i am getting the flu so i'm like a zombie at the moment - i don't know if this is relevant but thought it worth the mention.

Anyhow - my question is, at 23wks do i worry if there is a change in baby's movement patterns? I know it would be cause of concern later in the pregnancy, but i also know some women have only just started feeling there baby move so perhaps its too early for me to worry about a variation to baby's movements?

P.S - my next doctors appointment isn't until 8th Jan.

I'm on day 34, but it's pretty likely that i did not ovulate until day 20. I got a negative test result yesterday morning on a first repsonse, and a negative dollar store one just now. My boobs still hurt, but all feeling of my period coming has gone away. What is the latest day that you all have gotten a + result on?

When does implantation bleeding starts? My girlfriend got her period 2 weeks after we had sexs. Her period started 2 days late and she didnt experience any cramping on this period and all her other periods she always felt cramps then the next day she would get her period. She was bleeding 2 days and then stop and then back again that same night when she pees. Is that normal? Can she be pregant? I think its just her period and like she been stressing and stuff so that she wouldnt have to worry so much. But im not sure . Can someone please help me with this question?

I had protected sex (condom) on the 28th of Nov. the day after my period and everything worked to my knowledge. I realize I made a mistake with that and now I am worked up I took a pregnancy test 18 days after the act and don't start til 21st and it said negative. I hear the first sign of pregnancy is sore breast so I keep trying to feel to see if they are sore and they sometimes are and sometimes not (I think I am paranoid, I hope that is it anyway) and I was wondering what people thought with the information I gave is. The negative (I know it's early) the protection, the time....I know people will say stop freaking out but plz help. Thank you so much

This is my first pregnancy and I'm 34 weeks along. For the last 3 days I'm getting these really sharp pains in my lower belly on my right side. It feels like when you're out of breath and you get those sharp pains in your stomach (happened when I was younger). It hurts when I push on my belly in that spot, when I bend a certain way, take a deep breath, and when I'm not doing anything. I feel like I can barely move without it hurting. Is this okay?

I am 5 weeks and 3 days pregnant.

I went to my regular doctor a week ago and he confirmed my pregnancy with a urine test. Then we went over what medications I can take and he referred me to a OB/GYN.

When I called to make my 1st prenatal appointment, they scheduled it when I am 12 weeks pregnant.

I will have a full exam, blood work, and an ultrasound during the appointment.

Is this normal? This is my first pregnancy and I have to wait another 7 weeks??

start of my period: 17 Nov
Ran for: 5 days
my period was 2 days late, (supposed to be on 15 Dec but didn't happen until the 17 Dec)

but heres the thing i feel:

nausea
sore brests
cramps
fatigue
vomiting feeling (in my mouth)
i've put on a little weight
headaches

just wondering, if it is still possible that i could be pregnant?
