You should have a normal period no more than one month after your post-partum bleeding has stopped. Post-partum bleeding can take about 4-6 weeks to stop, then a normal period should arrive at any time, but no more than a month later.

After you have the baby, you will bleed for a few weeks. After that, it should go back to normal. Well atleast mine did, but I am reading that it is different in many women. Unfortunately it looks like you will just have to wait and experience it for your self. I know that it is probably not the answer that you are looking for, but it is an honest answer. Good Luck!!

It really doesn't matter if you breastfeed or not, your period could still come just a few short week after you have the baby. It is always different for everyone. Also just for knowledge, you can still get pregnant when you breastfeed, I know many people who have.

Just depends on your body chemistry.
With my first, it was 30 days later.
With my second, it was 6 months later.
So don't worry about it. Be grateful you can breast feed, it is so much better for both of you.
Congratulations!

flow ahead and commence attempting. some human beings get pregnant even at the same time as breastfeeding. At about 20 weeks preggy with #2, your breastmilk will substitute flavor/consistancy and toddler #a million will wean itself. i do not propose preventing breastfeeding because its so useful on your baby. once toddler #a million is a twelve months previous, then supply up the feeding. i got here upon out (at the same time as toddler #a million develop into 14 months) that i develop into preggy with #2. That develop into close sufficient for me. Too close and it is going to go away you that a lot more beneficial exhausted. My eldest develop into 22 months at the same time as her brother develop into born. It develop right into a large sufficient hollow that she develop into in a toddler mattress (crib for brand spanking new toddler), she develop into speaking, and she or he ought to help me some with toddler brother. Too close in age isn't the perfect.
