yes. thats why the instructions on the test will tell you to take it first thing in the morning when you have to use the bathroom. the hormone will be able to be detected quicker and faster, then if you take it in the afternoon or night. my pregnancy test came with two in the box. i took one in the morning and one at night just to prove this point to someone, and sure enough. i was pregnant, but the hormone didnt show up on the night test that i took. but then again these HPT can be so faulty you wouldnt know which ones are the right one to get. and theres always the choice of a blood test at your local clinic.

love jen.

yes, it is possible. home tests are not as accurate as the ones done by a medical practitioner. If you have any doubt and think you may be pregnant (ie you have signs of pregnancy) you should get a doctor to do a test. In any case if you have symptoms they could be the sign of another problem, not necessarily pregnancy and you should have that checked out.

I had six negetive pregnancy tests and my two year old son is proof that they aren't always accurate. Take another in a week. I was over six weeks pregnant before mine showed positive. You could always go to the dr and take a blood test, those are a lot more accurate and will tell you right then.

I believe they make those home pregnancy tests very reliable these days, but it's always possible for a test package to be faulty of course, or not done right.. You could get another one and try again. If you get the same result, I'd say it'd be correct.

Yes. The pregnancy tests are never 100% correct. They might be in the high 90s percentage for correctness, but that doesn't mean that it will be correct. There is always a percentage, no matter how small, for error.

yes because every woman hormone levels vary. some are higher than others. If they are low then it wont show up on a pregnancy test. try takeing it early in the morning when everything is fresh it may help.

Yes you might have taken it to soon. Try another one and do it first thing in the morning when you get up. Hpt are usually pretty accurate.

It's rare...those tests are pretty accurate. Unless you're taking them way too early, like right after your period ends or something like that. if you're late, took a test, and it shows negative, then you can be 99.9% sure it's negative.
