Yes, it's normal. It will continue for a while at least if you're breastfeeding. You can't really do all that much to ease it. Some warm compresses sometimes help a little.

Alot of things are completely normal in the last trimester. I would mention this to your doctor or nurse midwife. However, your hormones are changing and your boby is preparing to nurse a baby so it only makes sense. You're milk isn't coming in or anything like that but hormonal changes are taking place in preparation. I've had some pain but there are alot of pains I've had in the last trimester that are normal - the baby hitting the sciatic nerve for example sending shooting pain down my legs, and incredible bouts of gas, acid reflux - weird cramps that are not contractions and all kinds of things as the baby is big and puts pressure on you physically in all kinds of ways. Hang in there - baby can't stay in there forever!
