ultrasounds?

i had a vaginal ultrasound at 7 weeks, and had an ultrasound at 13 weeks and 3 days. which 1 is the most accurate? they had two different dates!

If you're talking about the transvaginal ultrasound, they're the most accurate because they're closer to the source point.

ive had two vaginal ultrasounds - one at 5 weeks and the other at 9 weeks. either way tell and show the same thing. the only purpose for the vaginal ultrasounds is in the early weeks the stomach ultrasound cannot pick up the baby because its too small to find that way. but as for the due date changing..it could happen. the due date is determined on the size of the baby. both ultrasounds are accurate and its normal.

They almost always change your due date. I believe that the trans-vaginal ultrasound is more accurate, but the later the ultrasound is regardless of which type it is more accurate.

Ive always had my ultrasounds at around 19 weeks and they were always exactly right. Always matched my LMP, etc..but I have never had a transvaginal ultrasound though.

i would say the 13 weeks u/s because the baby is bigger so it would be easier to get an accurate due date.

the one that you had last wasthe most accurate. Of course they are going tohave two different dates they are different times and the baby grows really rapidly.

the 13 would be more acurate. yes v/us are better.. but your baby has grown so much since then. this time would give you a more acurate time line for the development.

vagianl ultarsound are the most accurate. they can get closer to the baby.
