Pregnancy - October 2006

We fooled around about 6-8 days ago, although there was no peneteration involved. Now she's having some spotting and some cramps in her abdomen that she noticed on Sunday (2 day ago). She's told me that she's never experienced this before and that she was on day 13 or 14 or in the middle of her cycle when the possible conception could have occured. From my research, it's too early to have a pregnancy test done. Does this mean that she can be pregnant?

My gf is not on any form of birth control or any medication that I'm aware of. Also this may have occured when the pre ejaculate was transfered to the vagina via her hands or mine through groping or fingering when we were playing with each others area or maybe some other way. I did not ejaculate but there were times when the pre-ejaculate was present when we fooled around.

She said she had her period yesterday and that it was as heavy as it normally is.

We're both young and very scared. Please help.

How many of you just knew you were pregnant right away. How many were sure they were and they wern't. I won't be dissapointed if I am not, cause we will be eventually, but I really just feel like I know I am. Still too soon. So if you just knew, tell me about it please.

hi i'm 20 years old and i have a 10 month old baby. I Recently had a miscariage at 3 months that i did not expect so i had a d&c done.
And just a couple weeks ago my doctor found that I had a cyst on my left ovary which did disapear a week ago.for the past 2 months I've had my periods both which are at the end of the month. In the begining of this month I have had sex.but my husband pulls out all the time and i am aware that you CAN get pregnant that way. Just The Other day I went to the bathroom and i was spotting. It only lasted 20 mins and it hasnt come back.And my period starts at the end of this month
So my question is...Was I spotting beacause my body hasn't healed,,or because i am ovulating now..OR because I may be pregnant. I'm Just confused. I hope you guys can help. Thank you

i am on birth control and i have had a boyfriend of two years, so when we have sex we dont use a comdom. about a week ago we had sex the whole week before my period and when i was on my period. i take my birth control religiously beause i know that i am not ready for a child. my boyfriend is in the marines and he is leaving for iraq in January for a whole year, so we would both be heartbroken if i ended up pregnant right now. My boyfriend left me about a week ago to go back to north carolina where he is stationed, and for about 5 days now i have been having what feels like menstral cramping in my lower stomach and also in my back. i have also noticed some light blood when i wipe. it isnt pink, it is really dark and thick. i have been looking up the symptoms of both pregnancy and miscarriage, but i really have no idea to tell which has happened to me, or even what has happened at all since im on BC. and since i just had my period i cant get a pregnancy test done for another few weeks.

I went to the er last tuesday because i wasn't feeling well after the doctor gave me my rx the nurse peeked in and said by the way your test results came back positve. what test results ??? I asked ..... your pregnant the nurse replied..... I didnt believe her but im now positive three test later. Im 20 years old and have a full time job and am going to collage part time ...My boyfriend also has a fulltime job he is 27.. The problem is six months ago he got me pregnant and when i told my mom she pressured me into having an abortion and i deeply regret doing that and promised myself never to do that again. I used birth control for the first three months but stoped taking it because of complications. i'm soo scared and I need someone to talk to but if i tell my mom she will make it seem like im ruining my life. i just wish she would support me like my boyfriends mom does...... any advice about any of this please???

when was your baby's heartbeat detected? i'm roughly 12 weeks and on the slender side, have had no problems with my pregnancy, everything feels "normal" to the ob-gyn, but they can't find the heartbeat. they tried for 15-20 mins but couldn't detect anything. when did everyone else hear theirs for the first time?

asked a question before about my baby moving a lot and somebody else posted another question about it because of an answer I got that I didnt like. I really appreciate that some of you understand and give me good advises. I asked the question ONCE so I dont know why some people say i keep asking the same thing, I asked my dr about it but wanted the opinion of moms who experienced the same. I don't want kids right now. But in February of 2004 I had surgery and my doctor said that I may not be able to have kids. Can I go to a doctor to find out? How can I figure this out without trying to get pregnant right now?

I really want a second child but I am still breastfeeding and my periods returned irregularly for a few months and dissapeared again. I am not breastfeeding much, about 3 times a day but no periods, could I still concieve without menstruating?

I am 5 mos. and just found out that I’m having a boy. Every name I have chosen my boyfriend dislikes and every name he has chosen I HATE. I picked a name that I refuse to change. So, I told him he could pick the middle name and I will pick the first name since I am the one carrying and delivering our baby I get first dibs on the name and if we have another child he can pick their name. Is this unfair? And did anyone else have this problem and worked it out so that you are both happy? Thanx in advance.

I made a stupid decision to have sex without being on birth control. During sex, the condom slipped off. We are not sure what contact occured or how long it had been off. I had finished my period about a week or so before this. Should i be worried about becoming pregnant?

I AM 21 WEEKS PREGNANT WITH MY 3RD CHILD AND HAVE JUST CAME HOME FROM HOSPITAL AFTER A UTI MY 2ND PREGNANCY WAS THE SAME. Since Aug 2006 i have been having unprotected sex with my hubby. I just finished my period Oct 4th and it was 3 weeks late, my period was pretty normal other than it being late. ever since i finished my period i started getting nausea and headaches. I got nauseated everyday, even drinking water made me nauseated to the point that i wanted to throw up but i didnt. my breast feel very tender and sometime i would feel a little tingling in them. also, i did buy an ovulation kit and it shows two lines but the test line is lighter than the other, does that mean im about to ovulate? i know you cant have a LH surge while being pregnant right? thanks for your help

I had a cold a couple of weeks ago that went away except for the sinus issues. For the past two days I have had all of the common symptoms of a sinus infection. My head hurts, my face hurts, behind and under my eyes hurts, my teeth hurt, my jaw hurts, I feel extreme pressure in my sinuses, the drainage out of my nose is nonstop and a nasty color...
I am 32 weeks pregnant, and contacted my OB who told me to check with my PCP... I have called 3 times since early this morning and am yet to get a call back. Honestly I don't even want to go to the doctor... is it even necessary for me to take antibiotics for a sinus infection? or will it go away on it's own? Is there anything I can do to get rid of some of this pressure and speed things along? I hate to take any medicine while I am pregnant that is not 100 % necessary..

I am 19 years old (well, I will be in a little less than a month) and I am in my freshman year at college. I am about 7 weeks pregnant. So far, I am managing to hide it from everyon except for a few close friends and my boyfriend. I am unsure however, that I want to carry the baby to term and give birth. I have at least 5 years left of college and am currently not financially stable. My boyfriend also has 5 years of schooling left. My parents have stated before that they do not approve of being pregnant before marraige, and we're not sure what his parents would say. His older brother (23) just had a baby boy, and his mother supported it, but he never went to college. My parents are very disapproving of me having sex and I'm not sure if it is safe to even tell them. I wanted to know if people thought I should keep the baby, give birth and then do adoption(I'm not due til june and my parents would know) or if I should save money and get an abortion.

Hi everyone.
I just found out im pregnant about 20 minutes ago. How wonderful is this? I'm in Aus and its 5 30am. I have been sick all day and for the past few days.
My last period was about the 23rd sept and ended on he 27th. I have been feeling sick all day and ive been in bed the entire day yesterday now i can't sleep. It got the better of me.
My fience and I have been trying for months now. I'm so happy. I'll tell him in a few days when he gets back from work (he had to go out of town this time) so that i can tell him in person, not over the phone so i can see his face and his reaction :)

Does anyone know when i might be due or how far along i am?

I had my blood pressure taken last night as part of a routine exam for a life insurance policy-- it was 90 over 54.

The nurse doing the exam didn't seem to think it was a big deal...but remarked that it is low and said it could explain why I feel so run down all the time.

Is that blood pressure too low? If not, what is? And how can one counter the effects of low blood pressure?
