If you just had ur period a week ago before sex, no you shouldn't worry about getting pregnant. Your egg is ready for fertilization about 10-14 days after your first day of your period. But, yes, there is worry about STD that you could have contacted, that you will need to worry about the most rather than the pregnancy.

Well if you have a normal 28 day cycle and you can count 11-15 days ahead from your last period.. and between the 11-15th day you had the sexual contact..theres at least a 25% chance of you being pregnant. Don't be so hard on yourself either. You were using a condom. Good for you. It's your choice to be ready for this baby or not. But you did try to be cautious. The pill isn't for everyone. At least you weren't completely careless. Be proud of yourself and let your partner know whats going on so he can help you with any decision you have to make.
Good Luck!
hope I helped.

well...sperm can last in your body for up to 72 hours... you ovulate 7-10 days from the start of your period.. also, if he didnt finish in you, you can get pregnant off pre-***... also, i would have the standard STDs check too.. Only think you can do is take an EPT test 5 days before you period.. or if you're wanting a definanty answer, blood tests to determine pregnancy can be done before a HPT

You should ask your doctor about the day after pill if it happened less than 48 hours ago, that would stop your worries. You probably are not but there is a definitely a chance you could be. Call your gyno see what they say.

being a woman, and having unprotected sex, you should always be worried about being pregnant and getting STD's. Did you expect everyone to say, No, it's ok, don't worry about it.
