This is my first child and I am not fully aware of how long it takes to go from 2 to 10 in days... also how far do you need to be for an epidural?

does having a baby really hurt. i mean i heard it does then i heard that its not a big thing... yikes... im so happy but i kinda wanna know what to expect like with the birth and kinda what i should look forward to while i have my lil baby still inside of me...

I'm always sure to use condoms [none have ripped or slipped off] but this month I haven't gotten my period yet. I was suppose to get it on the 18th. its been 4 days. I usually have a pretty normal period cycle. I took 2 pregnancy tests that came out negative but my breasts have been tender and i've been cramping a lot. Could I be pregnant?

I dont but i wanna know everyones opinion. I mean i just dont understand y anyone would do this. I have a one year old and i got pregnant when i was 16 and never once thought of an abortion. I dont know what i would do without my daughter. What do u think???

I am 10 weeks pregnant and I have a regular OB. I am, however, very interested in finding a midwive and having a planned homebirth. Unfortunately, my husband is not crazy about the idea. He thinks it is too dangerous and that if, God forbid, something were to go wrong, we should be at a hospital. I understand what he is saying, but I would really love to birth at home, in my own surroundings. Should I keep trying to convince my husband to birth at home, or should I go along with him to keep the peace?

I am a thin girl who was a ballet dancer for 14 years. Meaning I have always walked with grace and I have always felt light when I walked. I am 14 weeks pregnant and I have been feeling clumbsy and off I feel like my lower body is getting heavy even though I do not even really show. Is this normal I feel so slow when I wald like all the weight is in my lower body. Just curious. Also yesterday I was running a little bit and it hurt my stomach is it dangerous to run when you are this far along. I know silly questions but I am new to this pregnancy thing.

I am 13 weeks and I now have dried colostrom and it grosses me out. It looks like sleep on my nipples. I thought that doesn't happen until later in pregnancy.

I noticed there was a small bit of semen near the base of my penis. Yes, I was wearing a condom.

Then I saw some c u m, I'm not sure if it was mine or hers, on the outside of her vagina. I wiped it off to make sure it didn't go inside.

I'm going to get the morning after pill, for her, asap.

My question: What is the likelyhood of conception? If penis length has any relevancy, I'm atleast 7". The c u m wasn't all that much, but I do know that it doesn't take much to begin with.

i went for an ultra sound yesterday but it showed up with nothing but i have all the pregnancy symtoms is it possible to still be pregnant and have it not show up in an ultrasound if i am pregnant i would b 7 weeks so could i still be pregnant?

I recently found out that my mother is expecting a child. I'm happy beyond belief; I can't wait for my new sibling in late March/April.

I know this is quite early to ask, but now I am the only one taking care of my mother and my other two siblings; my father is working in another state, and being the oldest (still in high school), I have to take care of my family.

I'm up to the task; after all, this is what I'm obligated to do. However, I'm worried... I've never had to take care of my mom when she was pregnant before.

So, this is somewhat open-ended... but I am sincerely hoping that some might provide me with some tips and advice. I really want to do a good job taking care of her...

And also, I am worried to death when the time comes. Should I take my mother to the hospital a week or two before she's due? Should I call the ambulance at the first signs of her going into labor?

I just don't know.

ok here it is...i am 3 months pregnant and this guy i slept with like 5 months ago thinks its his baby and its not...he is friends with my brother..i gave my mom 2 ultasound pics...the most perfect ones..and this guy stole them what should i do? my mom had them in her front room and he showed them to the guy ...i am pissed cause them were my first pics...

I would pronounce it e-lisa but it says the correct pronounciation is eh-lees-ah. How else could you spell it in order for it to sound like e-lisa.

I am 39 weeks pregnant and went to my doctor today expecting to be told I was at least 1cm dilated. Instead, he told me that my cervix is not softening/dilating. He said that we would talk next week if I had not gone into labor by then about inducing me. Does anyone know why my cervix is not cooperating properly? What could cause this, or is it just something that happens to 'lucky' people like me??

I've been having some pretty severe problems with morning sickness, and I've found that showers make th queasiness worse; it's the feel of the warm water that just makes me feel so sick. How can I help this? It doesn't matter whether I have flat soda or whatever, first, either, it gets me every time...? Help, please! Has anyone else ever experienced the same?

Some people think abortion is ok and a lot of people think its not. I think its not ok. Abortion is murder. Even if you get raped you shouldn't have an abortion because its not the childs fault. If you have sex without a condom and have a baby you need to take responsibilty for that child. But it should still be a choice in America because America is not a country based on Religion. It's stupid how they don't allow abortion in some states.

I'm having some pretty bad problems with morning sickness, having problems even with the smell or sight of food until late in the afternoon; what are some foods that you other women out there have found that you can still eat when you're experieincing morning sickness?

The past week and a half or so; I've been having problems with severe morning sickness. From the time I get up; or if I get up at all during the night, I feel like I'm going to throw up; whether I eat or not. And if I do eat, I do often throw up. It doesn't matter what it is. I'm like that until mid-afternoon, just can't keep anything down; even the sight or smell of food makes me queasy; its hard to even make breakfast for our 15 month old baby girl. But in the evenings, I'm fine, can cook, eat anything. Why the difference? And is there anything I can do besides drinking warm soda or having things with ginger in it? And how to I make sure I'm getting the right foods for the baby since I can't eat during the day? I'm basically only getting one good meal a day, and I know that's not best for the bub; but what else can I do?
