You should cook all meat thoroughly. You just have more of a chance of getting food poisoning which can be bad for the baby.

If tri tip meat is a kind of steak then yes it is alright. Any bacteria that is on the outside of the meatcut will be killed with the cooking process thus why steak is safe to eat blue rare. As a person that likes their steak medium well, i would suggest you try to cook off as much blood as possible.

Absolutely not. Your immune system can handle a little bit of blood in meat, but your baby's immune system is much weaker. You could cause a birth defect or even miscarry. One delicious meal is not worth risking your child. Ask your doctor before doing anything you are unsure of.

All the meat you eat should be well done, and you should microwave any sandwich meat to steaming before you eat it. Its not food posioning that you can get its a bacterial thing that can be passed to your baby and cause defects...when I was preggo that scared me...I was cooking everything extra long!! Good Luck and congrats!

I personally wouldn't eat any rare meat during pregnancy. You can never be too careful.
