At seven weeks the fetus would look like a little kidney bean. I had an ultrasound at 6 weeks. You must have your bladder completely filled in order to see. They had to actually insert a catherder and fill my bladder up for them to see anything.
If they did this and you still do not see anything it could be that you are not pregnant. When a woman thinks she is or may be pregnant the mind will start making you feel or see symptoms of pregnancy.
I felt all kinds of pregnancy symptoms until I took my test and knew I wasnt pregnant. My mind played tricks on me. It does to many people.
Take a test to confirm you results. If positive then go back and have a blood test taken. This will definately tell if you are pregnant and how many weeks to the day that you are pregnant.
Even with a pelvic ultrasound your bladder must be completely full in order to tell. Especially 7 weeks.

7 weeks should still show something....your doctor will order some more tests to find out where the HCG is coming from. HCG is a growth hormone that pregnancy tests look for. It's made by embryos, but it can also made by certain tumors. If an ultrasound didn't find an embryo in the uterus, you could also have an ectopic pregnancy (the baby attached itself to something outside the uterus, usually a fallopian tube).

if you were 7 weeks along it would show up. Three months ago I had a miscarriage at 6 weeks , had a sonogram and even though there was no heartbeat I could still see the yolk sack where the baby should have been. Im so sorry if you are upset but it doesn't sound like you are pregnant

7 weeks is to early for a unltral sound, some babys grow faster than others. Do you know for sure that you are pregnant? With my second child I had to take the pregnacy test done 3 times. I knew before the doctors did. Give it a bit of time.

ok, well it depends on what kind of ultrasound you got.. if you got a vaginal one then yea you would have been able to see/hear a heartbeat.. but if it's just the one on the stomach I'm not so sure.. I've never been pregnant but my sister said she got the vaginal one at 6 weeks and was able to hear the heartbeat... but that's because it gets you closer to it.. also, before my sister was pregnant with her first she got the symptoms and all but turned out not pregnant.. so my opinion is your best bet is to take another test and be sure to have it done by a doctor...

you may be having a phantom pregnancy.. your mind has convinced your body that you are pregnant. just relax and give it some more time. If you are pregnant.. you have 9 months to figure it out.
