it is actually too soon for most sonographers to be able to detect a pregnancy. beta hcg tests repeated every couple of days is a better indicator this early.
good luck!!

Yes, a fetus will show in an ultrasound, BUT sometimes a person wants to be pregnant so badly that the body creates all of the symptoms of pregnancy. That is when nothing shows in an ultrasound.

I am at the end of 4 weeks and already having breast enlargement. The ultrasound should have shown the pregnancy at 7 weeks. Could you have miscalculated? Just a few weeks too early may make a difference. What does your doctor say?

My sister had a pelvic ultrasound for unusual bleeding. They found a small fibroid and also noted fluid to be in the uterus. That's how they found out she was pregnant. Fluid in the uterus in premenopausal women usually indicates pregnancy and she was only about 3 weeks along.

If you were pregnant even a normal ultra sound should have picked up a heartbeat. I was 6 weeks 5 days along with my son when we saw and heard the heartbeat.
