I would pronounce it e-lisa but it says the correct pronounciation is eh-lees-ah. How else could you spell it in order for it to sound like e-lisa.

I'd pronounce it Eliza (ee-li-zah). How about Lisa-Lee (just an idea) Basically, with names, however you decide it's pronounced is right. It's hard with some names as there will always be someone saying it wrong, that you'll have to correct, just something to think about.

When I first saw the name I would have pronounced it e-lisa. I don't think you need to change the spelling. Regardless of how you spell it..there's always going to be someone to mis -pronounce it.

Pronunciation of names in English has become a matter of personal preference. Spell it however you like. You, and later your daughter, will have to tell people how you prefer it pronounced.
I would pronounce it "ee-LYE-sah".
