Pregnancy - August 2006

What are some signs ur body gives before going into labor? BESIDES: braxton hicks, water breaking, baby dropping, mucus plug. I want to hear what some women have experienced & believe to be true signs of labor coming.

i may be pregnant but my mom insist i keep taking the pill in case im not. i have a 7 month old baby and i had unprotected sex 4 weeks ago and just started taking the pill 3 weeks ago...if i am pregnnat will it cause birth defects or what?

I am on the contraceptive pill microgynon 30. I have bad IBS so most of the time ı am running back and forward to the toilet. I went to the doctor to ask if it could reduce the affectiveness of the pill and she assured me it was not possible unless I am being sick.
I am feeling really tired and run down and a little bit sick and am worried about getting pregnant.

Am I panicing for nothing or is the doctor wrong?

Well I guess I am 6 weeks now. I cant suck in my stomach hardly at all. I am a chubby girl anyways but this is makes me feel so much worse. I havent had any morning sickness and I feel like I am gaining weight like crazy...im not really overeating. Should I cut way back, almost diet, I know thats not healthy, I just mean something close to a diet. Anyways is it really possible for me to be showing so soon or am I just getting fatter! I dont know what to do, I feel like I am 6 months. I mean if it is possible then I will just let it be but if its me then I want to do something about it quick! Advice please!

Anyone here been on the pill - thought they were pregnant - taken preg test and it been negative and then taken another one and still been negative but later on turned out to be pregnant after all? Also how long after possible conception did you take your tests?

an hour ago i had the biggest stomach ache and my blood pressure dropped. i was feeling very faint. i' have anemia even tho ive been taking iron for the past for months which my doctor doesn't understand y i have it. my periods keep coming later and later every month. the next one is due 8/26 and there aren't any signs of it. i was sexually active 7/21 and the sunday after that. is pregnancy is possiblity? i read before that a women can become anemic if the fetus is taking all the red blood cells, would that be the reason y i keep being anemic while taking iron. also i did take a pre test last month and it was neg. has this happened to anyone? serious answers only thanks

me and my husband are TTC. my period was due on August 13. It didn't come. And i've been having some pregnancy symptoms. And today i have light red/pinkish blood. So i dont know if this is my period or what. i have some light cramping. Please dont tell me to take a test because i did on August 16th and it was negative. and i dont want to waste my money on another one. Can some one please help me out. ok i had sex wih my boyfriend on august 12 and the condom broke he said that he dosent think that the sperm got inside me because when i got up the sperm was on the floor so i have been really worried so on august 13 i got my period is there any way i can be pregnant?????

Im having twins. At 24 wks the ultrasound tech says they are both girls. The more I look and compare the two pics, I am becoming unsure of what she said. Is there an easy way of determining this for myself. I dont see the three lines they say look for for a girl.

I'm at week 21 in my pregnancy. I am usually pretty fit and I eat healthy. Since I've been pregnant I've been eating significantly more than normal but I'm not really gaining weight! I've gained 5-8lbs during the past 5 months. I just have a tiny bump on my belly, but my baby is growing at a normal rate. I can feel him kicking all the time! I'm just worried I'm not growing enough compared to other women I see who claim to also be 5 months pregnant. Is is dangerous for my baby if I dont start putting on belly weight?

After giving birth to my son, I didn't get my period until he was 10 months old. When I finally did get it, I got my period on a pretty regular cycle (every 28-29 days)...which is weird since I've ALWAYS had irregular periods! So in December 2005 I spotted for 3 days instead of having a regular period (usually really heavy for 5 days, bad cramps, etc). So when they asked when my last "menstrual period" (LMP) date was, I told them Dec. 20th. But could it be possible that I was already pregnant during the spotting? My last regular menstrual cycle was on Nov. 23rd (which lasted the regular 5-6 days). The only reason I'm asking is because I'm 36 weeks pregnant and I've been having a LOT of pressure down there for 3 weeks now. Also, my due date was off 3 weeks with my 1st pregnancy (also gave them an LMP of a spotting period instead of a regular period)...changed the LMP for my 1st pregnancy the 8th month. So just wondering if I should NOT be using the spotting as the LMP date?

My daughter is 16.She is pregnant in 9th month.We live just the 2 of us.We haven't been to a doctor because the pregnancy and we have plas for her to deliver the baby at home(we don't have neighbours close to our house).The problem is that her belly is very big.When I was pregnant with her,my belly was twice smaller in 9-th month.The belly causes her pain and it's too big and heavy.She cannot move easy.She usually cannot stand up of the bed(in the morning) and I can't help her,so since the 6-th month she has been staying in the bed without moving out.She pees and makes caca in special pamperses for women.She also has painful contractions since the beginning of the 9-th month.Is it all normal?Don't tell me to go to a doctor - WE WON'T GO TO ANY DOCTORS,FORGET IT.Just give some advice please.When I touch her belly,she feels pain too.During the morning massage(I do on her abdomen) she screams of pain.Of course I don't stop,I think she needs it.So,give some advice please.
