I *think* the stomach pains are from "Round Ligament Pain" which is when the ligaments holding your uterus are over stretching and it hurts. All of your muscles in your lower back, upper thighs, hips, etc are shifting so it's going to hurt. Try to relax, take a warm bath, and if it keeps up call your OB. Wish I could tell you more to help you out! Good luck with your pregnancy!

I just had my first baby 4 weeks ago and I experienced pain through the entire pregnancy. This is very normal and your body is going through all kinds of changes. I was very tired in my first trimester which is also normal. I had bad cramps, or round ligament pains, up until my fifth month. I even developed Carpel Tunnel of Pregnancy around 30 weeks which was probably the worst part. If you haven't already, you should check out babyzone.com. It helped me to be informed about what to expect from pregnancy. Remember that everyone is different and every pregnancy is different so if you are concerned about something don't hesitate to call your doctor... that's what they are there for. Good luck!

Well, think about it--you are bearing ever more weight in the midsection and your lower back is going to take the brunt of that. During both of my pregnancies I had the same trouble. But to be on the safe side you should discuss it with your doctor.

It would be best to ask your doctor. If this is your first pregnancy, then your body is prolly just having to adjust to the little one. But all the same, you need to ask the doctor to make sure everthing is ok.
