this is my first baby and i'm currently 8 weeks pregnant. I'm just wondering what all is going to happen at the appointment, and if I need to do anything extra to be prepared so everything goes smoothly.

These contractions are about an hour apart and I've been having them every day for the past 2-3 wks. The nurse at my OB's office said not to worry unless I have more than 3 in an hour. I still wonder if this is normal. I did not have any of these problems with my first pregnancy. Anyone have this same thing or is there a dr or nurse out there who can provide some input?

I am 34 weeks pregnant and I was just wondering when the baby usually drops. Also did anyone else experience a lack of movement once you got so far along. He is moving good and I record it on a kick chart, but it seems as if the farther along I get the less he moves around and doesn't seem to be kicking as hard. The doc said everything was fine, but I was just wondering if anyone else experienced this?

I am looking for some good tips and exercise routines that I can do while I am pregnant. I am only about four weeks along and this is my third child. I had planned to try to get into better shape before I got pregnant and lose some weight, but it didn't work out that way. I am obviously not looking to lose any weight because I know this isn't a good time, but I am wondering if there area any exercises that would be safe and healthy that I could do to possibly put my body into better shape before I have the baby. any help is appreciated. thanks.

I have been having really weird dreams lately. I heard that it was because of horomones during pregnancy. Is this true? I had a dream the other night that I was 35 weeks pregnant and I delivered the baby by peeling the skin off my stomach one layer at a time. The last layer looked like a water balloon with a baby inside. Anyone else have dreams like this?

It took 24 hours to work. And I still feel yucky!
I am drinking lots of water.
I do not like figs, raisins or prunes.

This nausea is really kicking my butt. I can't even cook dinner for my family without feeling like I'm going to hurl. The mornings are the worst but I don't want to deprive my baby of much needed nutrients. Is a glass of OJ enough? That's all I can seem to stomach at the moment. My first pregnancy was a cake walk, I had no nausea so I have no idea was the best response is. Please do not suggest crackers! Yuck.

Any moms have any suggestions? I know everyone is different.

It's nice that younger siblings are included in everything, but in giving birth? I saw on TV that a mother let her 4-6 year old daughter in the birthing room, and this lady was stark naked in a tub, giving birth on her hands and knees, with her big boobs and her big belly hanging down, and screaming? Should kids really be watching as their mother, aunt, whoever is screaming and cussing and pushing the baby out? I totally get letting kids rub the belly or explaining in kid terms about childbirth, but this seems nuts.
