A woman is ready for childbearing again after a miscarriage once the normal cycle returns. However, it is hard to predict when the next menstrual period will return after a miscarriage. Following uncomplicated miscarriage, most women who had regular cycles will have a period within four to six weeks following the completion of the miscarriage.

I wondered this same thing when I miscarried for the first time last year.
My doctor's advice was this: when your period comes back your body is ready to have a baby. And your period should come back between 4-6 weeks. Doc also advised that the right time to try again was when I felt emotionally, spiritually, and mentally ready.
After my first miscarriage I wanted to get pregnant right away. After the second, I have been more hesitant and less excited about pregnancy again. After almost 6 months, I'm just now entertaining the idea of pregnancy again.
Good luck with all, and I hope you have many cute and lovely babies in the future.

It depends on what your doctor advises. They have different views about it and you might want to take what they say and then add how you feel about it.
Some believe that it is ok to start trying again as soon as you want, especially when the mother is eager to be pregnant again. This could really help her emotional health and healing.
Other doctors just prefer to play it safe and they prescribe a sort of arbitrary "waiting period" of a couple of months or so.
It's kind of like asking when you can marry after being widowed.
The answer is ultimately, when you're ready and your body feels ready. And for many women it's very soon after miscarrying. For others, time is needed, especially when the miscarriage required hospitalization and/or very intense treatment.

Talk to your doctor about this...some say 3 months to a year. Only your doctor and advise you of when you should try to get pregnant again.

I don't know the physical answer to this but as long as you check out with the doctor and you are EMOTIONALLY ready I say go for it. Just keep in mind that you want to give your body a chance to heal as well.

1 or 2 normal cycles after the misscarriage. It can take a long time to have your 1st cycle afterwards. I waited 10 weeks for my 1st after misscarriage.

I'd ask your OB about this one. I think most doctors recommend that you wait about 3 months to give your body a chance to recover completely.
