I have been having really weird dreams lately. I heard that it was because of horomones during pregnancy. Is this true? I had a dream the other night that I was 35 weeks pregnant and I delivered the baby by peeling the skin off my stomach one layer at a time. The last layer looked like a water balloon with a baby inside. Anyone else have dreams like this?

Yes I think pregnancy gives you weird dreams!! I am 19 weeks and I dreamt that i delivered my baby and they wouldnt let me see him because he was too big the size of a toddler- I haev gross dreams too but I thinks its cause the pregnancy!!! i would write them down because I think they are neat to have such elaborate and vivid dreams!!

I have really weird dreams when I'm pregnant. At the beginning when the baby is really tiny my dreams are about giving birth to kittens and other tiny, cozy critters.

And then later in pregnancy, towards the end, I dream about giving birth to full-size children (like a 4 year old toddler) and sometimes they look nothing like my child, or they are taken away from me at birth or something else traumatic.

Yeah, it's the hormones, and also the subconscious thoughts running through an expectant mother's mind - i.e. you may be dreaming about things that secretly worry you.

Interpret Your Dreams on this site all the meanings without having to look them up never mind the...Title...of the web-site. http://www.freakydreams.com/ because Good Dreams also can be Interpreted.
Dreaming is a place of possibility and creation, a land of futures that might come and pasts that never were. It is also a land of nightmares.
It constantly changes as people fall asleep and shape parts of it, then wake up and their dreams dissolve back into mist. A dreams dictionary always helps ( for other descriptions needed ). http://myjellybean.com/dream/pagey.html
Did you know you can make yourself dream anything its called...Lucid Dreaming which this site will explains along with some other questions about dreaming. http://www.dreams.ca/

You are having dreams that reflect your concerns about the birthing of this baby.
Is it your first?
We often dream about fears and concerns about things in our lives. We dream them in symbolic forms.
Do not be too concerned about this dream, it is normal, I do not see anything that is a warning in this dream.
THE Balloon represents a desire for freedom, most likely from being pregnant...
Colored balloons are a sign of rejoicing and happiness...
GOES ALONG with the birth...

FYI:
I do know that Potatoes will cause some very wild dreams.
Try to not eat potatoes before bed time.

YES!

Girl, I had all type of dreams or rather NIGHTMARES when I was pregnant with both of my kids but the doc's tell you that this is normal, it's a mixture of hormones and fear of the unknown like(will the baby be o.k, will I be a good mom, can I afford this child) It's very creepy but also very normal.

Cool dream!

Don't forget that eating just before bedtime will also give you bizarre dreams. I can imagine what would happen if you were pregnant and then ate a slice of pepperoni pizza right before you went to bed - screaming nightmares!
