I have called my Ob I am waiting for a return call. And my baby is in no danger I am almost 39 weeks. If he was they would have told me to come in instead of waiting on a call back I was just wanting some opinions from ppl with experience!!!!! One more question can the baby feel like it is moving if you are in labor not major movements just like little twinges? (PAINFUL TWINGES)

Yes, this could definitely be labor. Probably back labor, but it is advancing if you are feeling it come to the front and feel like the baby is "balling up".

Time them and then give the doc a call.

I know I had back labor with my second child and didn't realize it. I was supposed to be a repeat c/section and I was having exactly like what you are having. I couldn't figure out what was wrong. My mom told me I was in labor and should go to the hospital and I got "snippy" with her saying, "I think I know what labor is, after all I had a baby!"...well, so has she!

I didn't listen to her and just stayed home trying to figure out a position that would stop the pain. Finally I decided to "time" the pains, and sure enough they were coming regular.

When I got up to call my doc, I got hit with a contraction in the front that literally put me down to my knees! I called the doc and left for the hospital. I had a few more contractions that were just as severe.

After I got to the hospital, they were taking their sweet time even though I was a repeat section. I kept telling them I felt like I needed to push and finally they checked me. I was 9cm dilated!

Boy did they start moving fast then because the baby's head was right there too!

Sounds like you're going to be meeting your little one soon!

Good luck!

Could be. The pains starting in the back and moving towards the front are how I knew that I was having contractions instead of just Braxton Hicks. Good luck!

could be ,i would get to a hospital and get checked out because its better to be safe than sorry!it sounds like back labor and the longer you wait you could put your baby in danger .go asap so they can stop it or save the baby if you are in labor!

how much time in between contractions? I think you should be calling the Dr instead of on here...that could be the real deal! Good luck!! ;o)
