If you have only one bathroom, then leave the door open if you're only in the shower or tub. That way your hubby can use the pot if he needs to. If you don't want to watch him, or if he is modest, then pull the curtain.

If you're sitting on the pot, close the door.

If you have a two bathroom house, then shut the door and expect privacy!

it depends on both of your comfort levels and just how close you are. For me, it doesnt even faze me...at first it was akward, but it's a whole lot quicker in the mornings then waiting outside of the door while be brushes his teeth and showering, and your bladder is about ready to explode. As for the whole bathing thing...if you really are a newlywed, it's just romantic. He could join you and spice things up a bit. My husband has drawn bathes for me a many time. So, I suppose if it still feels too awkard, then forget it - dont do anything you dont feel comfortable with. And take signs from him...what does he do? Leave it open or closed? That should give you an idea of what he wants...

It depends on how comfortable you are with it and how comfortable your husband is with it. I never thought I would ever leave the door open when I'm in the bathroom, but I find living in a house with my hubby that we both do this (unless our tummies aren't feeling good.) Just do what feels comfortable. I'm pretty feminine and follow proper etiquette, but for some reason, closing the door just somehow went away when I'm at home. Same with running down stairs half naked or fully naked to get things out of the dryer, never thought I would do that :)

I kept the door open when I was pregnant with my daughter I guess because I had the fear my water was gonna break and I wouldn't know. My boyfriend would sit next to the door and say I hear nothing. so i would say stand the hell up and watch than. It is normal it is your husband he loves you just the way you are don't be scared or confused. You go girl just don't do it while you have company over bad idea. Good luck and congrats

You're supposed to be closer to this person than anyone else ever...keep the door open unless there is a possibility someone will walk by. Won't you ever want to take a bath together? That's great!

You do what makes you feel comfortable. I have been married for a year and a half and I keep the door open when I bathe and pee (ONLY pee, no number 2). It is only about what makes you feel comfortable (and your hubby).

In time you two will become so close that this question won't even come to mind. You'll just look up and notice that you left the door open without thinking about it.It's kinda like going to dinner together for the first time.At first you're very conscience about whether or not there's food on your face.....but now??....you probably just chow down!
So do what's comfortable for you for now. Close it-- you can always just leave it unlocked in case he does want to come in.

Close the door when you pee and keep the door open when you bath (but keep in mind that if your man sees the door open he might want to join you).

Your husband might like it if you kept the door open while bathing but might be a little grossed out by the peeing part. it's really up to you tho.

hey r u ok..ever heard of a word called "shame and ego"..not only should u close the door u should bolt it..its offensive and smelly and disgustin..ofcourse to keep the magic alive u should keep the door open SOMETIMES, i mean just dont bolt it while bathing,,so if your husband sneaks on u, u can act as if by accident u kept it open..just to excite him..hehe.. otherwise strictly no for peeing or crapping..EEKS GOD!!
