If the cramps don't come along with any blood.
I got cramps the first few weeks of pregnancy (right around the time the egg implanted) with my last two pregnancies. It hurt pretty bad too. Especially when I was peeing.
You also might be feeling the stretching of you uterus. It is only a slight pain though.
If you are more than 4-6 weeks along and the pain is more than a slight stretching then you may want to contact your midwife/OB.

Yes, it is, and for different reasons:
1. Cramps when implantation occurs and baby attaches to uterine wall
2. Cramps when the uterus grows and expands (so you may get these mild cramps throughout pregnancy)
3. Cramps from stomach discomfort
However, whenver cramps are not mild, you see any bleeding, or the cramps are constant, an immediate call to your doctor or midwife is in order.

Yes, it's very normal.
I had them. My doctor told me that I could get mild cramps that felt like my period was going to start, but never did.
But if they're anything but mild, I'd call the doctor just to be sure.
