oh yeah Its happens all the time, I wouldn't worry too much about it. You are about the right time for your back to start hurting constantly, congratulations, lol. As for the cramping, it could be pressure, or you could be getting a little braxton hicks thing going on, either way its not a big deal.
Sit in a warm bath it usually helped me out.
But if it gets too bad or painful, then go to the dr.
Good luck.

Yes,i had the same experience with our eldest son. Both of our children were carried low all throughout my pregnancy actually. So what happened then during my first weeks of conception was that I suffered from cramping,a stroke of backpain and some spotting for no special reason at all like stress or a strenous activty of the sort to blame which I & my man found worrying.Next minute, our housedoc came giving me an advice of complete bedrest and drinking fluids such as fruit juices and that helped a whole lot!And well,7months later our long, expected bundle of joy came out all bouncing and perfectly normal. :)

Just a friendly advice, never take any risk as chances are high to miscarry a fetus at any stage in pregnancy or be sorry to deliver an invalid baby for life...that's just depressingly sad.

All the very best of care!

I have the lower back pain also I've grown to learn from my doctor sometime the way u r baby sits affects the way u feel and and different pains. U could also be feeling Braxton Hicks contraction you usually fill them after five mths of ur preganancy. Good Luck and hold tight it's almost over with.

I got a few cramps with my second child because I was carrying low. That and lower back pain is normal for pregnancy. My ob said take a warm bath (of course not hot) whenever you are in a lot of pain. When in the bath the water makes your belly like a floating devive so it takes off all the pressure

I've felt that way. Went to the hospital too. I wasn't having any contractions. Was told to drink more than 8 glasses of water because of the hot summer weather. They say that dehydration increases cramping normally caused by round ligament pains.

I was 23 weeks when this happened.

It could be 'false labor pains' but usually those happen later on in the pregnancy. Since you are only in the 2nd trimester of pregnancy you should be examined by a doctor. I don't understand your doctor saying 'Don't worry about it'. If you start spotting go to the emergency room or the doctor's office. Call him again if the pains don't get any better but get worse.

yes i fely like that it probably means your baby has turned to head down and that puts alot of pressure on your cervix causing slight cramps however if the cramps get more severe get to a dr.
