sure, but you should always have a safety buddy handy to help in case you get tired or a cramp. Dont go out too deep, and make sure you arent bleeding or anything.

Would not recommend swimming at 8 months preggers, because your reactions will be a little slower and there is always a risk when anyone swims ot a beach of being dragged out by tides etc, paddle instead

Of course it is, just don't go out to deep in case you have trouble getting back, you will probably find that when you are in the water the baby will probably start to move around a lot and kick you, they seem to like the fact that you are in the water, ( must give them a nice sensation). Also take a parasol with you so that you can gets lots of shade, but when you feel hot again, back to the water..... Have fun, your baby will.... (but please be careful if it's very hot, drink plenty of water).

I don't see why not unless you have a high risk pregnancy.

Just be sure to wear lots of sunblock and drink plenty of water.

I wouldn't, personally. It's rough in the ocean, I'd stick with a pool where its calm and not too deep. And besides, do you really want everyone staring at your bathing suit clad pregnant belly?
