my son looks between his legs and crosses his fingers. ive taken tests to see if it is me but so far no. i wish i was and my husband does to but not now. anyway, what other myths have you heard of to see if you, a friend, or relative might be expecting....?

is there any signs that your water is going to break or does it just happen? i mean any cramping, weird fetal movement, nausea? i'm 37 weeks and havent read anything about it so does is just happen?

It is so much preventable than it was even 20 years ago. Why are there so many? Are they doing it on purpose? Have we preached so long and hard about protection that they have tuned us out? I find this just crazy!

I had my son 5 weeks ealry...my doctor said that normally when a woman goes early with her first she is likely to go early with all her children, my doctor said I make big babies, LOL, my son was 6lbs 7oz would have been about 11lbs had I gone full term. Has anyone else had a similar situation?

I am 23 and had unprotected sex with my fiance.
My period is 2 days late as of today there is no sign of it. I had some brownish/pinkish spotting on saturday and sunday and now nothing. Had slight cramping but gone now as well. Last night i kinda felt nausea's but only lasted for a few min. I had sore nipples for 2 weeks and now that is gone as well never had that before either even when it was before my period . I have a weird taste in my mouth like i have not brush my teeth but i did and i noticed it last night .I dont feel pregnant at all. NO other simptoms ..I am on the pill but i skipped it for a week and had sex when i was 5 days on it again...... that was 3 weeks ago and i am not taking the pill now (21 pills 7 days resting ) i was suppose to get my period yesterday morning. i am going to see a doctor next week. Is it possible to take a pregnancy test now or should i wait till the weekend?
Advise would be really Appreciated

I am 27 yrs old and ready to start a family with my husband. I also go to college full time working to get in the nursing program. The program is extremly hard to get into and my husband and friends want me to wait until I am all the way finished. I am just afraid that while I am waiting to be accepted into the program that I will miss out on the blessings of having childern, or be too old by the time I finish with school. Any Advice?

I am currently on the pill. I had sex about 4 hours after I took the first pill of my last pack. I also used condoms which I discovered were expired. I became paranoid for some reason, and took the next pill of my pack the next morning, instead of waiting till the evening like I normally would, and have continued taking them in the morning. I finished my pack on a Thurs, and normally my period wouldn't come until the following Tuesday or Weds.....But Saturday morning when I went to the bathroom I wiped and there was bright red blood. It lasted for about 4 days, when normally my periods are only 2, and a little heavier. It was pretty much only there when I wiped, but did have clots, and was again bright red. Well since it wasn't when I normally get it I kinda really worried, and stressed so much I made myself physically sick to the point, where I had my DR, put me on anxiety meds. I had sex while on my period and I have to wait about 2 more weeks to find out if I'm pregnant but... I'm sleepy quite often, seem to urniate a little more frequently, breasts a little bigger, slightly bloated. my concern is these are period symptoms also. Lust leads to sex/Intercourse. Even on pills or condom bursted, a girl gets pregnant. The best way to avoid pregnancy is not doing sex. How ever given the lust factor , sex happens.

Girls is pregnant- Boy looses his job- Boy does not have money to afford child neither the tension involved in the whole process.Even if child gets born, he will be born in all the tension, anxiety and hand to mouth life.

Infact girl also dont want child at this stage.Girl took all pills on time. Given the lust factor, girl also couldnt control and did intercourse passionately.

My only question: Whose fault ?

I am 20 weeks pregnant, just received a call from my nurse about 3 hours ago - stating that my test was 76% - and that it was abnormal with a possibility for the baby to be born with down syndrome. She said an ultrasound or amio test are the 2 ways of finding out if the illness is 100 % present in the baby - with the amio being the most effective test. She also mentioned that abnormality in the test may not be anything because most test are abnormal but turn out to be nothing in the end.
I can not even concentrate at work - i don't know what the outcome will be - I have an ultrasound scheduled friday aug. 18th.
Has any experienced this or do you know of any friends who had to deal with this?

This is my second child, I am a little overweight and not sure if that is why I am not feeling regular movement. I am just wondering when everyone else started feeling their babies move, I feel movement but its not everyday, just little kicks here and there, is it normal not to feel that baby move, my first child was almost 6 years ago, I dont really remember when I felt him move. I went to the dr. yesterday the baby measured 6 w 1d. I should be 8 weeks though. There was a heart beat and a yolk sac, but I am very nervous. What should I do or think? OK here we go. I'm 9 weeks pregnant and am having some major anxiety issues. I think for the worse. I'm worried that something will go wrong or is wrong. My first appoitment went very well. I saw the baby :-) and the heartbeat. However, I am scared that when I go back they will give me bad news and or tell me there is no heartbeat. I'm so annoyed by all this. And I have no idea how to make this go away. Has anyone else been in fear that there baby is gone or won't make it or something will go wrong?? HELP! G
