This is my second child, I am a little overweight and not sure if that is why I am not feeling regular movement. I am just wondering when everyone else started feeling their babies move, I feel movement but its not everyday, just little kicks here and there, is it normal not to feel that baby move, my first child was almost 6 years ago, I dont really remember when I felt him move. Please help, thanks

I just had a baby - she is 2 1/2 weeks old. I am also overweight and started feeling regular movement with her at about 24 weeks. I am not sure that being overweight has anything to do with it though I think that everyone has a bit of a different experience. Once you are feeling little, irregular movements the more regular movements will come :) Good luck.

Well you still have a lot of room in the womb for the baby to move around in so he/she is not cramped up and yet and can still stretch and move regularly without you feeling it especially if you are over weight. I am 21 weeks I felt the baby move at about 18 weeks but still really dont feel movement regularly. I went to the doctor monday and the doctor said it was normal. Just give it a little longer and ask the doctor next time you go in. Dont worry it should be okay......................

I am 24 weeks pregnant, and the movements are regular now, and can be felt daily.

I couldn't feel it much at 19 weeks at all, so if you feel kicks sometimes that sounds normal. I didn't start feeling regular movements until about 22 weeks. I am not overweight, don't know if that makes a difference or not though.

I am now 34 weeks and i start to feel my baby move at 17 weeks! You just might not have a real active baby and the extra weight can be a factor on the amount of movement you feel. Just relax and don't wish for the pain to get here before it has to. Good luck and CONGRATS!

I started to feel regular movements not until 22-24 weeks. When you'll start to have them regularly, you shouldn't be paranoid if you can't feel them all of a sudden. That's what happened to me. Plus the movements vary from person to person. If you are still worry when you'll get regular kicks, you should keep a diary, it will help you to know your baby kicks pattern. Also, the doctor or the nurse might give you some pointers.

Good luck!

Dont concern approximately it in any respect. At 12 weeks i replaced into feeling little flutters, then didnt sense any flutters lower back until eventually sixteen weeks and now 20 weeks in a 2days and nevertheless have not felt something for the previous month. I went for an ultrasound the former day and particular my toddler remains alive and growing to be and im particular yours is in basic terms too. in case you dont sense something in any respect via week 23 thats once you may initiate getting in contact. My well being practitioner stated it replaced into well-known to no longer sense something in any respect until eventually week 22-23. Plus your toddler would desire to be shifting yet able the place you do no longer sense it or shifting at night at the same time as your snoozing. Oh and via the way im having a sprint woman and from what I pay attention from human beings i know, women are a tad greater lazy and look to unlike shifting as much as boys until eventually extra into the being pregnant which you'll be having a woman.

It should be any time soon. Go get a book called " what to expect when you are expecting" by Heidi Murkoff. It's the pregnancy bible and will help with all these questions. Your question as well as many others that you would not expect is in there. It's excellent in describing all of these little things that worry moms and help distinguish when something is "normal" or not.
Good Luck!

My 2nd daughter moved very little during the day, but apparently, at night, when I was sleeping, she went crazy. You should begin to feel regular movement at 20 weeks. Don't rush it.

Normally about 20 weeks bu many say they pick it up earlier with subsequent children as you know what your feeling for. The wee flutters that I can only describe as bubbles in your tummy could be it.

WIth my son it took a definate kick for me to be sure but if I was preggers again I'd pick up the wee flutterings a lot early!
