There are a lot of brand names, but your doctor will know exactly what you're asking for if you just tell her you want to go on the Pill. The depo-provera shot is another medical (hormonal) option.

depends on what type of birth contol you use...there are shot (depo) there is a patch...and different types of pills...talk with an ob\gyn for more info.
