I need the health benefits of my full-time job during the delivery of my first baby, but I don't plan on returning to work afterwards. I would like to just be honest so that my boss and co-workers are not counting on my return, but I'm worried that I'll lose the benefits (and/or pay) during and the few weeks after delivery. Does anyone know how I can swing maternity leave without return?

My friend is pregnant and she is a heavy smoker. I don't agree that she continue smoking but her excuse is that she has been doing it for so long it will be hard so she just cut back.
Anyone here been pregnant and quit smoking even if it was hard and if so what was your way of doing it?

My 9 year old is eating less . He wont eat any fruit or veg and is now refusing foods he used to eat (pizza, bacon, chips). He says he is not hungry, eats a little then stops. He is a normal child although a little small for his age. We are going to see the doctor next week. But any ideas will be welcomed!!!!

I had a dream last night that I gave birth to a baby and when I did the doctors and nurses at the hospital were really rude, when I got home with the baby my family diden't care. But I only just gave birth and the baby could already speak words like mum and dad and say sentences too. The baby then turned into a cat and I diden't know why it was really weird.
Why do you think I had such a dream?

I had a c-section bikini cut style the 3rd of this month i have naturally been sore in the incision area ever since but now it hurts to urinate and not only my cut but now my lower abdomen hurts even to the slightest touch (the pouch area) its hard to get up and down without being in horrible pain. what are the signs of bloodclotting?..could this be something serious or has anyone else experienced the same thing? i may just be overreacting but just curious..i do have a Dr appointment in 3 days to get the rest of the staples removed. thank you for taking time to answer my worrie.

How do I get my lil half brother to speak properly in both English and Spanish? I am half-American and half Mexican. In addition, he is full blood Mexican but was born up here. Now for some reason that boy dose not understand that he needs t o speak properly in both languages. like a few min ago he got on the computer and said he was boring, then I told him one "your board, not boring" and all he says is " don’t care" and thus I try and explain to him why he needs to speak properly and he starts this dumb crap where he just stays quiet and doesn’t say a word so I then get angry the threw him out. Anyhow, he has been like this for years and nether neither my father nor I can get him to speak right. the school says he is getting speech therapy but obviously not and his damn mother wont help at all (she’s the damn type of mother than will take him out of school for 2 months during the winter rather than going down to Mexico in the summer so he doesn’t miss any school)
