Not really, you could get an STD from the first person you have sex with if they have something, and they would have only had to have sex with one person before. STD's just means sexually transmitted disease, it doesn't have to be someone who has slept around alot.

NO way its just because they had sex with someone who had STD or they got it from an injection so dont use the same needles of injections or even the needle its self or even from a bank blood they can get it from bloods of other persons

You can get sexually transmitted diseases by having sex with One or more who has those diseases or who is not suffering but who is a carrier of the virus. You can also get from womb of your mother who is having the virus in her blood. ( eg HIV)
You can get some by deep kissing when the virus is in saliva.
In old days syphilis and gonorrhoea are common STD which you can cure with anitbiotics.
Herpes is from virus and it can stay long in the body and break out often.
HIV is still un curable.

Having sex w/ one or multiples can give you an STD. Remember when you sleep w/ someone you have slept w/ everyone they have slept w. Remain abstinent if you can.

not multiple people... it can take sleeping with one person to have a STD... basically its sharing bodily fluids and they arnt pretty....... if you are having regular sex its important to have a check up every now and then csuse not all infections are visible they can come out years later!
