STD's are, by definition, sexually transmitted. Therefore, if both members of the couple are virgins, there should not be a risk of STD. However, there are certain viruses (such as urinary viruses) that can be transmitted from one to another and for which neither of you has to have had sex. If you're worried about STDs (or if there's any thought that either could be lying about being a virgin), you can each get a blood test and a physical before marriage. If you're both clean, you will both be fine during the marriage.

YES !!! It is possible to get an STD even if you both were virgins...
Can we all say COLD SORE??
If your partner has a open and oozing cold sore and 'goes down on you '..that is Herpies Simplex 1...transfering to Herpies Simplex 2.
It becomes an STD , when the infected person from the oral cold sore.. then has sex with someone when they have an open oozing sore...
Herpies has an incubation period of 6 weeks... so I would get tested 6 weeks after you think you might have been exposed, or now ask your doc about the handy blood test.
LOL - being dirty doesnt cause STD's .. but anyone having sex with a nasty person should just be shot for poor personal desicions .. YUCK....
So kiddies.... remember.. "If there is a sore anywhere... it DONT go down there"

If both you and your spouse were virgins upon marrying, it is highly unlikely that either of you would acquire an STD from some outside source, like a toilet seat or something. That kind of thing is very rare, indeed.
You can get lots of "diseases" that are not necessarily STDs due to uncleanliness, like yeast infections, etc.
Go to your doctor. If it is an STD, he can tell you that for sure and give you medication for it. Don't delay because some STDs can cause you to never have children if you don't get rid of them.

Trichomoniasis can also picked up from contact with damp or moist objects such as towels, wet clothing, or a toilet seat, if the genital area gets in contact with these damp objects. Some STDs cause no symptoms. But STDs can still be passed from person to person even if there are no symptoms.

If the couple married as virgins and has never had intercourse or sexual contact (either partner) with anyone else outside of the marriage ever, the chance of getting an STD is 0%
You can still get yeast infection and pass that back and forth with each other.
No, STDs are not the result of not washing your private parts. They are the result of intercourse with a person who has that STD.

you don't get an STD from being unclean - you get it from having sex with someone who has the disease. If both people are virgins, then neither person has an STD so you won't get it after marriage. You could still get an STD if you had not clothes on and were fooling around with someone and there was an exchange of body fuids but no penetration/sex. But you don't get it from being unclean - see a doctor or search STD on the internet.

infections in women can vary on their immune systems, for some reason women in general seem to be more prone to urinary tract infections and also yeast infections occur in women and on top of that I have heard( weather or not it is true or not is not entirely 100% sure to me but I believe it to be a possibility to meand from I know of people) supposedly 80% of both married women and men couple and relationships whatever, so I would say the odds in this day and age of catching a disease while being sexual with someone is hust highly probable, wear a condom at all times and it might help your odds a little bit

If both partners are virgins and didn't do anything wrong ie have multiple partners and have not been infected with the disease, then the answer is NO. YOu don't get STD if you're not already infected with it
