Hi there.
After I had my child in November of 2004 I didn't get my mense untill Feb. of 2006, so don't be alarmed. I was breastfeeding, and that is what stopped them. If you are really worried, I would go to the doctor to make sure that there is nothing wrong, but I have heard of women that weren't breastfeeding go as long as 6 months without menses. Good luck and don't worry. God bless you and baby!

Some mommies take longer to have their menses than others. It is your system still having hormone issues, especially if you are still nursing. If your doctor doesn't want to induce it, which they can, there isn't much you can do about it but wait for nature to take it's course. Just keep on the idea that you are still fertile and keep up the protection if you are using it. You may also be suffering from stress in addition to just giving birth so try to be patient and let God do His work. Good luck!! Congratulations on the baby!!!

(As a few other people have stated) breastfeeding can cause VERY irregular periods, if you have any at all. Some women use breastfeeding as a form of birthcontrol (although it is not totally effective). If you are not breastfeeding then I would suggest that you see your OB/GYN as soon as possable, but if you are breastfeeding then I wouldn't be too concerned, maybe see your doctor just to ease your mind. Good Luck, I'm sure you will be fine.

are you taking a b.c? maybe that is the problem , something like the depro provera shot (i think i spelled that wrong)... can sometimes stop from you from having a period
or like someone said breastfeeding can stop your period, if you don't want to get pregnant again soon, i would use a birth control, because if you are irregular like that, you will not know how to predict when you ovulate
g'luck

Are you breastfeeding? If so, that could be the reason. If not, I suggest you give your OB/GYN a call and they could find out exactly why.

if you are breast feeding, this is completely normal. If you are not breast feeding - check with your doctor, they can help figure out what is going on. Good luck!!
