Your doctor should have told you how long it takes for birth control pills to become effective, and advised you to use a condom.
If you have not had a period in all this time, you may indeed be pregnant, so take a test. It's possible as well that the pill may have stopped your period. Are you using the placebos?

Read the insert that came with your pill. YES you CAN get pregnant after using the pills for just one day. But if you've been anxious or nervous about it, that too can delay your period. Take a pregnancy test - or better yet, since you don't seem to be very good at following directions (no offense), see a doctor. You must follow directions very carefully on the pregnancy tests in order to trust the results. The directions are not hard, but you really have to do it just the way it says. Next time you use any product, medical or otherwise, please take a few minutes and read the label!

possibly. you should really use a 2nd form of birth control for at least 1 month, even 2. It takes a while for the pills to get into your system and work. They are not 100% effective either, so a 2nd form of BC is always a good idea. I had my son after the condom broke, and I was on the pill for 2 years. Try a home test and go see your Dr. You may just be late due to starting the pills, but it is unlikely. good luck.

OK did you start taking your pills this past Sundy as in July 9th? If so you could be pregnant. I believe they say that it takes a full pack of pills before they are effective or are in you system and that you should use preventative mesures in the meantime. Also, if your period is that abnormal and not on the 28 day cycle then you could not be it just depends on when you ovulate.
Wait 7-10 days from the day that you had sex and if you don't come on then TAKE A PREG. TEST!!!

yes. In some people, the pill can take up to 30 days to be fully effective. Go get a birth control kit, and if you're pregnant, STOP taking the pill immediately.

Yes, you could be. You are supposed to wait 7 days of taking pills before having unprotected sex. They don't work right away.
Take a pregnancy test, b/c you're 2 wks late. Sounds like you are. Good luck.

Uh, YES! It takes up to a month (your doctor informed you of this) for the hormones to regulate themselves in your body, and you should have used a secondary method of birth control for at least a month. Not to mention, you should be using one anyway to prevent STD's....unless you are married, but I am assuming not. You better take a test, and get off the pills to prevent birth defects to your baby.

Uh..yeah. They plainly tell you to use another form of birth control for the first month that you are on the pill. IF you are no more responsible than this, you don't need to have sex.
