My 6 months old son has pooped 3 times today. He usually only goes once a day. It was not watery, but fairly solid and soft. No fever but he is grumpy and fussy. I noticed to bumps under his gums. They don't look red or inflamed, but could the pooping be because he is teething?

Can you breastfeed by pumping your own milk without the baby ever having to feed directly from you? And can you get goat's milk at the store like regular milk? Some people said that is what you can use if your baby is allergic to reg. milk or lactose intolerant...( that is if I read that right.)

My 2 month old has cradle cap.....well,...more like cradle helmet! It only flakes when I give him a bath. When he is dry you can't tell at all except for one dry patch on the top. What's the best treatment for this? Is there any way to make it go away faster? How long does it last?

Back in the old days, before formula was invented, what did moms do if their child did not latch on, but they were allergic to milk?

I'm making my friend a gift basket for her baby shower, filled with all kinds of fun stuff. She's a first time mom, her mother and father are dead and she had a REALLY hard time getting pregnant (6 miscarriages!!!) I really want to make this fun for her as well as extremely functional! I'm a mother myself and have put all the stuff I think she will need, but I need some more ideas...any help would be great! Thanks!

My mom told me that if you put a unboiled egg in a sock and hang it above the baby's door it soothes teething pains. With my first child she did this against my will and my child's teething wasn't bad. It was my first so i wouldn't have known either way. Now with my second child I am debating if I should hang the ole egg! ( And no...... the egg doesn't stink after a while, don't ask why.....it just doesn't)

I had my first ultrasound today and it was so cute to see my little one chewing on its fingers!! When the baby removed his fingers, its little mouth was still opening and closing, it looked like a fish! What are some cute experiences you had while viewing your ultrasounds?

It has been a while since I have had a newborn. My other daughter is 6. When the peeling process starts with the newborn skin, how long does that lasts? When the umbilical cord falls off, do I need to still be cleaning it with the alcohol swabs? Do newborn gums have a little white color in it as if you would be able to see where the teeth would come in? Someone told me that you could use the spring water like aquafina to add to the formula if you didn't want to have to boil the water. Can you? What all should my little one be doing now? Thanks

I am looking for an all in one, but I have no idea what they are called. I think I've seen them. The base stays in the car, but the carrier pops out and can be used as carrier or popped into a stroller. Info on where these can be found is also helpful.

Lately I have been pumping the milk for my newborn and last night when I pumped I didn't even get a bottle full. What can I do to keep my milk supply up. Do I need to breastfeed more often or pump it several times a day. How should I be eating now since I am breastfeeding? I skip a meal there and there sometimes and I do take my prenatal vitamins. My daughter drinks formula also. Sometimes I drink a soda also. Thanks. Can someone give some good advice for me to do to get my daughter back on the right track for healthy eating.
