In some countries the doctors use to move down the head of the little penis of the baby boys and clean it up but in here in London they don't do it, so what do you think about it? thanks

I think I like the Maclaren Techno XT, but would like to hear feedback from anyone who has one already. Or can anyone recommend another make/model?

I would like it to be lightweight, have multi positions one of which is flat, be easy to adjust, collapse and put up, and if poss to last through toddlerhood.

My 1 month old daughter is 11 pounds and is already drinking 6 ounces of formula at 1 sitting. In an hour she's crying and hungry again. I am afraid to keep feeding her, but that is the only thing that keeps her content. She cries a lot but is happy when she is being held. She is not a nuke baby so I'm running out of options. We even tried switching formulas thinking she was colic, but that didnt work. The doctor said that she should only be drinking 6 ounces at most however in a 4 hour period she has consumed 8 ounces Please HELP!!

My fiance and I have a few stuffed animals we want to put in our baby's crib when she's born but we're afraid that it might not be good for her to have them in there with her. Is it ok? they're just like a couple teddy bears.

I have read that research and scientific studies have proved circumcision lowers the risk of contracting AIDS-HIV and other STD's, however some people insist these studies are flawed, without providing any consistent evidence to support their claims. Now even at the American Academy of Paediatrics (AAP) are discussing if it is suitable to change their policy on circumcision and support it again for all newborns.

So in spite of all evidences, why some people insist circumcision is not beneficial and is wrong and consider it a mutilation or child abuse?
What might be their *real* motivation for doing this?
Who is behind them, supporting and backing them?
Are they really succeeding in their cause?
Why do their speech and methods become harassing and harsh at times?
I have come across with facts provided by anti-circumcision groups that are clearly misleading and incorrect, even to someone like me, who is not a specialist on the topic.
Do they produce this wrong information on purpose? If so, why?
Why do they want to manipulate the general public?
Anyone has answers to these questions? Help please!

My son just turned 7 months old and already has 8 teeth; four on the bottom, four on the top. They all erupted in just the past two months. When the 6th, 7th & 8th ones all broke through in the same night, we hoped he might finally get a breather from teething. But now he seems to be indicating pain where his molars would come through. Has anyone ever heard of a baby with so many teeth coming in at once?

He falls asleep in his highchair then i take him up to put him in his cot i put him in and as i go out of the room he starts screaming. I go back in and sit with him till he falls back to sleep but everytime i go out again he wakes up and cries. I have to sit in there for hours and he wont let me leave his room. I have to just put him in the travel cot in our room and he is fine. How can i make him sleep in his own room.He has been in his own room since he was 5 month i have only just started having this problem with him

I am a nurse and 7 weeks ago had my first child. I really wanted to breast feed and managed this for the first 6 weeks, however my baby was getting extremelly stressed as my milk dried up 5 mins into each feed. This meant that she was feeding every 10 mintutes and obviously we both got stressed and VERY tired. I now have her on formula and she is so much happier. I KNOW breast milk is best for baby but formula is a damn close second and people come on here for honest advice about the most important thing in their life and people seem to feel the need to belittle them and make them feel like they are abusing their children by not breastfeeding. New first timemothers are extremelly prone to depression and feelings of inadequacy as it is without people telling them they are wrong. Why come on here to insult people, it affects peoples lives.
Sorry to rant and maybe some people dont realise they are doing it but some do and seem to take pleasure in hurting people.

The baby is 2 weeks old. He likes to be cuddled a whole lot of time.
As soon as we put him down to his bed he'll cry.... as soon as we pick him up, he'll stop.

We're soooo happy having the baby...but he's crying is also putting a toll on us. My wife and I are barely getting enough sleep...especially my wife!!! (I work that's why).

We do have bouncers, swings, swaddled him tight, and feed him on a "strict" timely basis.

What else can we do? Is this normal?
