Try freecycle or craigslist. Post wants on both places. You should be able to find a walker free or very cheap. Check resale stores, Salvation Army store and GoodWill.

well this does depend on how much you want to spend. Argos is good but can be expensive, i suggest you try ur local secondhand shops or baby budget places. i know of a few but not knowing where you live is a problem. There may also be some second hand or used baby stores which sell everything i have one near me and found it very useful for buying cheap or on a budget or quickly. if you could let use no where you live it could help ur search. Also you should have access to something called free cycle. Now the products have to be free but some people are willing to deliver and may want a small fee but others will post as long as you pay towards the cost. your local free paper should also have a section in the back which advertises just about everything you could need. My partner and i brought loads of stuff out of there when we first moved in together.

These days baby walkers come in so many different styles with extras and different colours you have to just keep looking till you find what you want. Just remember cheapest isn't always best. When I bought my daughter's walker(she's now 2) the shop assistant told me she was too young for a walker and wouldn't be able to hold herself up. We proved her wrong. Different walkers stay at one height but others move up and down so you may pay more in the first place but you can use it for longer.
good luck xx

Get a play disk instead. Walkers have been proven to lengthen the amount of time it takes an infant to learn to walk properly, it makes it harder for them. They gain absolutely nothing from a walker.
You can try a consignment shop, or garage sales. Just check online for recalls on that particular model before buying, or using.

At a car boot sale. I picked up one for my baby when I was pregnant for £5. He is 6 months old now and has been in it for 2 months. You can have a proper look to see if it suits the kind you want, mine has several levels to change to as the baby grows taller. It looked brand new when I bought it!

Look in the small ads in your local paper or Loot. Or you could try joining your local freecycle group and possibly get one for a thank you! Most baby equipment is not used long enough to become tatty so if you don't mind disinfecting a used one, you could get something great.

Baby walkers are dangerous so they are hard to find. (Too many kids fell down stairs.)
Exersaucers are a dime a dozen though. (And can be a total God-send!!) We got 3 of them for our place, the lake and the grandparents place and paid $5, $10 and $15 for them at a garage sale, a used toy sale and a Salvation Army Thrift Store.
Good luck!
