All of the names with the exception of Tyanna sound sooooo ghetto!!! The first two sound like you're saying squishy but as a female version or something. And LaMika is the slang term in spanish for a green card, do you still want to use it now???
Why don't you name the baby after someone you really respect in your family. I named my daughter after my sister, Lola and my son after my brother, Robert.

LaQuishia- you must not like your baby
Naquishia- eeeekkk!! What does this mean ?? Is this project speak ???
LaMika- "La: again why ? Do you want people to make fun of this girl or what ? When she's an adult, people will take one look at her resume and think "wellfare baby..h ell no"
Tyanna- Lady like..easy to say, sounds reputable, yet friendly.

I get the whole ethnicity thing, but surely some of the most influencial black women did have names that didn't require 4 syllables, with ridiculous prefixes.

Mika-by it's self sounds pretty, you through that "La" crap in there (I speak french and spanish..la only means "the" female form) and it's awful
Quishia- sounds like "queef" which isn't becoming at all..screams " I'm am ghetto" honestly, as does the other name you suggested..naquishia.

Names do have powerful influences as our children get older.

Sophia, Ruth..Loretta...pick something that isn't so freegin...ugly.

Tyanna is okay but please think long term.

Your child will grow up and apply for jobs. You don't want to give a name that will automatically limit your child. Employers often look at the name and assume that the person is ghetto, or black or some other stereotype. then they throw the resume away without giving that individual a chance. Give a name that will offer fair chances in life.

Please do not give the child a name that will but a label on her. Here are some suggestions. Tiffani (Tiffany), Kara, Sydney, Tia, Alyssa, Megan, Tyra, Kalen, Tamara, Jordon, Jada, Melissa, Megan, Katilyn, Kiana, Kimora.

These are young, cute and fun...most importantly they don't identify a race.

Having a name that's hard to spell is tough on a kid. MY name is Kathrine spelled with no "e" in the middle. It's pretty normal except for the spelling, and I had tons of trouble with it in school.

I like Tyanna the best. It's original without being "ghetto" as Ginger put it.

I like the suggestions given by "yourhonou"
The spelling and pronunciation is easier and will be less complicated for the child and others.
I also like Tyanna, but would like it better spelled Tiana pronounced Tea Auna

I like Tyanna the best. I have a friend named LaMika. It's cute we call her Mika for short.

Tyanna is more classy though.
